This establishment service and quality speaks for itself from the moment i walked in to the Elgin store to book my event which was a themed cake and sweet table all the way until delivery on time and professional ! We had an 80th Birthday party for my mother and we ordered a 2 tier cake yellow on the bottom and chocolate on the top with a whipped mixed berries filling in both. My sister and I used Delish Cakes for my son and his fiancé’s bridal shower yesterday. The cupcakes red velvet, chocolate and vanilla were delicious. My cake from Delish was so amazing. It was so beautiful and it was everything I envisioned. We received so many compliments on our cake. I was not the biggest fan of the taste, but I should have tried more flavors at our cake tasting. I think that I was indecisive about flavor because we had a sweets table and I was not sure what flavor would fit in. I should have just gone with the flavor I liked the best. I ordered a cake 2 weeks ago and went for pick up today and it was not anything like we had planned. I expressed my frustration and distaste for how the cake came out. Went in over the weekend and they had new flavors of cupcakes they are trying out. I love that they are always willing to try new flavors and take customers suggestions. They also added even more items to their case. the macaroons are always my go to but the almond bars to AMAZING! They were priced 2 for $1 which is insanely cheap and super dangerous for me. My husband and I wanted a rice krispy cake for our November wedding and Delish Cakes delivered! Our cake was amazing! SO delicious and was still fresh DAYS after the wedding! It looked amazing and Alicia worked with us from the beginning to create our dream cake.
