So where do I start raving about the best cake I have ever had in my life and this was the same opinion of the 120 guests I had on my birthday from all different ages and different backgrounds . My husband and I cannot rave enough about this bakery. It is really close to our home and we visit every opportunity to purchase their cupcakes. When I went in for the cake testing, they had a mini wedding cake already designed for me which I thought was really cute. They took there time explaining all there different flavors and fillings. I can t say enough good things about Delightful Treats!! From the tasting to the wedding, they were super professional and helpful with everything. The cake turned out absolutely STUNNING and it tasted fantastic. We are still getting rave reviews about it from our guests. If we lived locally, we would come here for all our baked goodies. We had 4 different layers - strawberry with fudge, vanilla with strawberry, chocolate with chocolate mousse, and red velvet with vanilla custard.... ! They were all great. Our wedding cake was beautiful, elegant and DELICIOUS! I looked at many cake companies in our area and was so happy when I found Delightful Treats. Before our consultation meeting, Ashley and I conversed through email to discuss budget and cake size; she had a great recommendation that fit our needs perfectly. She was also extremely patient during the design process! My groom was very hands on during our wedding planning and I had my own extravagant ideas courtesy of Pinterest. I ordered our wedding cake from Delightful Treats and it was so beautiful and delicious! I can't wait to eat our upper layer for our anniversary. Yamy was so great taking the time sitting down with me and working on the mix of flavors together, making me taste her ideas, etc...They had such an original variety and so yummy! They were also the only ones who could rent us a gold cake riser. Oh! I did I mention they make the smoothest looking fondant? I met these lovely ladies last February at a bridal show when they where located in the Altamonte mall (I was a potential show vendor, not a bride at that time). They have come a long way since then and have moved into their own location. Their product only keeps getting better and better! I got engaged within the last month so obviously they were the only ones on my list. We had our cake tasting Thursday and both of us have been craving their cake since then. I used to be a Sweet girl when I lived over in Waterford and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Delightful Treats surpasses Sweet in all ways. Their icing is perfectly sweet and their cakes are moist. None of that "this is too sweet I cannot eat it" icing which makes eating their cake and cupcakes enjoyable. I cannot wait to taste our custom wedding cake at our January Disney wedding!!!!! If you haven't yet, stop in to try their cinnamon buttercream and key lime cupcake. They are both to die for.
