As an out of state bride, I should have known better that I need a wedding planner before we even look for a wedding venue. I hired Dee after i decided to book skylinks at Long Beach Golf Course based on the pictures I saw online. When I went there in person to check out the venue in person, I was super disappointed and almost cried! The venue was so different from the pictures they presented online. Dee was there with me. She used her network and helped me found a much better looking wedding venue very soon. She understood we lost our deposit from Skylinks wedding venue so she helped us to save as much money as possible. She was there for me along this entire wedding planning journey ever since she was hired! I was having mental breakdowns for multiple times due to stress and she was there to share her life experience to cheer me up. It is so hard to just step back and let someone else plan your wedding. Dee likes to talk about her experience, sometimes she talks a lot. But thats what makes her a wonderful planner. I had a chance to work with Dee just about a month ago as one of our clients, who rented our venue (indoor play place) to have her niece's first birthday party, needed a planner to handle EVERYTHING about the party.  Dee took great care of my client and has gone above and beyond, not just for them, but for us as a venue as well.    The floors at my indoor play space is foam type material and the type of chairs that the client required will puncture holes on the floors, which cannot be placed directly onto the floors.  Dee acknowledged my concerns and had found a great solution by bringing in a big turf (which totally goes with the beautiful whimsical hot air balloon theme) to lay on the floors.  I learned that she did this out of her own expense.  This, to me, shows that she really cares about all her clients, venues and all her teams/vendors that she works with.  Also, please note that I did not know Dee personally before I referred her this client.  My client needed someone quick and I have seen her work on IG, so I referred.  It worked out so great.  I couldn't be happier with the decision of this referral and most importantly, my client was sooo happy with how the party turned out.  I highly recommend Dee for all your party designs and management.  Thank you Dee!! Dee did my sister's baby's 1st bday and now, my baby shower. we've been so satisfied with everything she accomplishes! she is great about staying in close touch, calling and texting about decisions to be made prior to the event. she found us a wonderful venue- la peer hotel in weho. it was the perfect setting for the vibe we wanted to achieve as well as the number of people. the flowers and desserts were beautiful. the dj and photographer she arranged worked out really well. she executed everything wonderfully on the day of, and went above and beyond to stay and make sure all loose ends were tied up. we would definitely hire her for future events! It was such a pleasure to work with Dee on my birthday celebration. From the beginning, she was always responsive and attentive to the details. Dee is my everything! Can I please give her more than 5 stars?! I came in contact with Dee to plan my daughter's first birthday. Not knowing what I wanted and how I wanted things designed, she began giving me ideas. I finally picked a theme with some pictures and this is where Dee's magic came in. She asked what colored we liked and started putting them together. EVERYTHING TOGETHER; colors, vendors, decorations, venues, etc! I didn't have to worry about anything. I gave her a picture of the cake I wanted and she found a vendor/baker that made it look exactly alike. I mean EXACTLY, to the littlest detail and to be honest maybe even better. Everything was custom made and it was beautiful. On the day of the party, it was a beautiful chaotic event. However, Dee definitely kept on top of it. She came early to the venue with her vendors and started setting up. You wouldn't believe how they did it! They literally built everything on the spot and put it together. None of the decorations were made in advance. They did it in less than a couple hours. It was so impressive because if that was me doing everything, I would have had a meltdown. OH DID I MENTION?! Dee even found me a last minute photographer! For the party Dee and her photographer stayed. She oversaw the meals, decorations, took care of my family/guests, refill the dessert tables, and even stayed after to clean up the venue. Dee made sure everything flowed and every part of the part came at a timely matter since my daughter was being super grumpy. The photographer got amazing shots and definitely got all the elements of the party. She made she got everything for us, so that we can look back later on and remember the moments. I was a nerve wreck before Dee, but trust her when she tells you to. She WILL make it happen. With a couple of conversations with Dee, she knows exactly what you need and want within your budget. Dee is the absolute best. She made my baby's 1st Birthday truly special. I was planning my Baby Shark themed birthday from another city and she absolutely nailed it. All I had to do was have a few conversations with her and after that I didn't have to worry about a thing. The decorations were custom made. We had an under the sea balloon arch, a gorgeous dessert bar with a baby shark cake, a pink fong dog piñata, custom centerpieces, and the most delicious (and cute) cookie favors. Dee even had a baby shark, mommy shark, daddy shark, and grandma and grandpa shark made. She even came up with the idea of putting a fishing game on each table which the kids loved!Dee and her assistant stayed for the whole party. They coordinated the baby shark dance, took awesome pictures, oversaw the meal service and the DJ, timed the whole event, offered to load up the gifts and cleaned up after the event. Please note I did not hire Dee.I've been super busy planning for my daughter's sweet 16, something that she wanted last minute. With less than 2 months away, I started searching on yelp for ideas. I found a beautiful picture of a quinceanera and the bday girl's makeup was on point. It was posted by Dee Lee Designs, so I messaged her about the makeup artist. Dee messaged me back right away and provided me with the name of the makeup artist. When I couldn't find her on yelp, I messaged Dee again and asked for a contact information. And got a reply within seconds. She said she would tag me on IG with the makeup artist, eeek but I don't have an IG account.So I asked if she can txt me the image, she did. Not only did she do that, she also called me and went over ideas, recommendations and what the new hip things were.Dee went way above and beyond for me, a non paying client. Dee Lee was AMAZING (BEYOND AMAZING!) We could not have done the wedding without her.
We had a dream of having our wedding at Malibu Rocky Oaks (MRO) in August 2018. The venue had so many different restrictions, and we were really trying to keep a tight budget. MRO is one of the most logistically difficult venue in the Southern California area (and probably in the United States)! It's a completely blank canvas which allows for a lot of creativity, but also creates a huge challenge. Additionally, my fiance (now husband) and I were pretty ridiculous. We also had a lot of random things we wanted to execute: a DJ, a musician (Masumi), a caricature artist, a MirrorMe Photobooth, a particular Vietnamese/Chinese banquet style dinner, etc. etc.

Dee worked with us every step of the way! From the very beginning, we clicked with her right away. She is genuine and kind. I felt like she was my family rather than my wedding planner.
We sat down to plan. She gave us suggestions on the design concept: what chairs to get, color schemes, plate set-up, decorations, lighting (the chandeliers are so beautiful!), helped us set up the dessert table, and so many things that I cannot even list. She helped us find our vendors. She also did 2 site walk through at the venue with us so that we can avoid crises on the day of the wedding.

Our wedding was beyond my imagination! It was incredibly beautiful. If I didn't have Dee, I think I might have just made it look like an Asian restaurant with white polyester linens, lame flowers, and no plate settings. She helped us refine our vision and executed it flawlessly, and UNDER BUDGET! She was there from the very beginning to help direct load in and to the end to help with load out.

She really went above and beyond. Book her as your wedding planner ASAP!

Blessed to have crossed paths with Dee. I initially contacted her about 3 months before my wedding about renting a donut wall as a referral of a donut vendor we had chosen for our reception. Before speaking with her, I didn't think I needed a coordinator to help for my wedding since most plans were made and I had some friends/family I would just assign tasks to for the wedding reception the day of. When I spoke with her, I already felt at ease and knew she was filled with experience because she was asking me many things about the wedding reception I have not thought about. I guess there was more to it than I had thought.

Long story short... her and her team made my wedding day stress free for me and I am thankful we made a decision to have a coordinator, especially Dee Lee Designs. Dee had a lot of responsibilities to take care of the day of with transitioning items from ceremony to reception, set up, handling my donut wall and more. She made things happen and even was willing to add more people to her team to get things done and made sure everything was covered, which I greatly appreciated. She also added styling touches to the reception that fit with our theme. She also has many contacts; If I needed a resource, she provided me contacts such as a limo and even provided the exact floral arch and donut wall I envisioned. There were some mishaps on day of wedding that were beyond our control- she was able to shield them from my husband and I because she wanted us to focus on having a good time and she was able to handle from the backend. Had no idea where to even begin for wedding planning. Dee took charge & in one week booked my venue, all vendors, & found the perf dress. Engaged on NYE, got a June wedding @ Sheraton Hotel SG thanks to D, they weren’t even open yet. She took me to a sample sale & found the PERF dress (brand new NBW) for 1/2 of retail price. All her vendors were so nice & felt like friends. D rec. Porto’s for our cake, the cake was DELICIOUS & beautiful. Dee helped my mom & MOH plan my shower, worked great w/them & got along w/my fam. She knew I loved mermaids & rolled w/it, from the cake & desserts to the decor. She was able to present what I wanted, even though I wasn’t sure what that was yet. But once I saw it I knew it was EXACTLY what I dreamed of. I wanted multicolor florals but was hesitant bc I’d never seen it done before. D encouraged me to go w/it, SO glad that she did. Everyone loved how unique it was. D even offered her services to decorate our Tea Ceremony, ready to set up @my MIL house the night before. Any issues, D took care of w/ease. Forgot champagne glasses: she already had some placed on our sweetheart table (way cuter too). Forgot garter, D cut lace from my bouquet & tied it around my leg. Next morning I worried bout all the stuff I left behind, esp my VEIL! Called D, she already handled it. She gave everything to our fam. If anything else went wrong, idk bc D took care of it all. Diane first helped us with my baby shower, then we hired her again for my son's 1st bday at Rainforest cafe with Baby First theme, then for his 2nd bday at home with a Mickey Mouse Club House Theme. The details that come out of it amaze me each time!!! She pulls the best vendors to do the job and she is a perfectionist!  I'm usually a worry freak, but knowing the party is in her hands I literally have zero worries! The quality from a simple centerpiece to the cake/candy table, to balloon layout, to the entertainers are Superb!!! My brother and sister in law just had their wedding on June 23, 2018. I have to say. It was the most emotional, amazing and breathtaking wedding that I've ever been to. Dee is the best wedding/party planner ever! When my husband and I got engaged we had a difficult time getting our wedding visions put into action, we then decided we were going to need help, but I was apprehensive due to hearing and witnessing so many horror stories of weddings where the planners bailed on their duties (friends weddings). Well God must have heard our prayers because at the recommendation of one of my husbands co-workers we got in touch with Dee. Once we met with Dee we voiced our concerns and unease to trust a stranger with one of our most important days and she was very honest and did not dance around the subject. She answered all of our questions and asked all the who, what, when and wheres for our wedding! To say that she is good at what she does is an understatement, because Dee is just absolutely incredible at what she can do, and all within our budget (which was not much).

Planning a wedding takes a LOT, and my fiancé (now husband) and I are busy worker bees most days. When we went into the wedding process, we had a venue, photographer, and videographer. Our venue (the Jim Henson Company Lot) was a completely blank canvas - and we had no idea where to start with bringing all the big picture details in. This is where Dee came in! She brought us lighting, flowers, decorations, table/chairs/tablecloths, DJ/sound, photobooth, bartender, sign printing, food truck (The Habit Burger truck was GREAT and everyone raved about it!) and desserts. She reached out to all of our vendors, coordinated with them, and handled our payments. She visited us a few times to go over our to-do list and make sure everything was on track. Dee was always willing to take on an extra task to help us out, even a last minute rush to the market when we forgot to pick up a flower girl basket. My husband and I were able to handle a lot of smaller details on our own (invitations and some design/aesthetics), but all of the big picture stuff was thanks to Dee. We had the pleasure of working with Diane to put together a beautiful mermaid themed bridal shower for my daughter and boy were the results beyond our expectations! She is a true professional and exceptionally talented at what she does. She puts great thought and attention to every single aspect of the party to ensure our vision comes to life. Not only does she have an exquisite eye for detail, but goes that extra mile to ensure our event will be memorable for all. She puts her special touch on everything from the photo booth area, balloon garlands, floral center pieces, right down to the table linens even. We especially appreciated the immaculate dessert table display, which included all sorts of mermaid themed goodies and gorgeous cake. I meet Dee Lee Designs during an event where she and her team setup the dessert bar. Her team was there early (even before the venue was open) and was very efficient in her setup. The dessert bar was styled and set up in the theme of the night which was "Roaring 20's" or art deco. Planning a wedding can be a little overwhelming. My (then-fiance) husband (now) and I don't even know where to start in the beginning! Thanks to Diane, she got it all sorted out. She had us fill out her short questionnaire and she started from there. She advised us on how we will come up with an amazing wedding of our dreams without straining our budget.
