After browsing through many designers on Houzz, I came across Deb's work. I instantly knew she was the right designer for us. In our 25 year marriage, we never hired a designer. After removing walls, flooring and fully renovating our family room and kitchen, it was time to bring in the expert to tie it all together with color and texture. We needed help defining a style and feel for our space. She did what we were not capable of doing. She pulled the colors from the quartzite double thick island and flowed the mineral green/grey tones into the Great Room. Her area of expertise was shining bright as she presented us with many different colors, textures and accent pieces then guided us in our selection process. She has the innate ability to enter your home, assess your style and incorporate some elements that are preexisting into the final product. I met Jennifer and Barbara in 2004 when I moved to Atlanta. It was my first experience working with interior designers. They were personable, professional, reliable and knowledgeable. They did an intake session with me to help identify my style and to understand what was important to me. They worked patiently with me through all of my uncertainty and indecisiveness! They took time to get to know me and through out the entire process their mission was to help shape and fulfill MY vision for my home. They were inclusive but cognizant of how much or little involvement I wanted throughout the process. I was very nervous about it all but they made it painless, exciting and fun! The results were better than I could have imagined and I could not have been more pleased. Since then, they have done 3 homes for me as I’ve relocated several times over the last 14 years, including my most recent move 6 months ago. They’ve done everything from decorating a new construction town home to making a condo turnkey down to shopping for utensils to decorating and renovating an existing home. In 14 years my tastes have changed and they’ve stayed abreast of changes in design. What hasn’t changed in 14 years is their ability to build a personal connection with their client, to provide outstanding insight and service and exceed expectations in the outcome! My home is a reflection of who I am. I feel I “belong” there. It’s such an awesome feeling to see a vision shape and come to life through their work, creativity, innovation and gentle prodding :-). Joanne and I are extremely pleased with the professional manner in which Kathy handled the decorating at our home in Flourtown, PA during 2017. She is pleasant and easy to deal with. Her ability to understand what we wanted showed us her experience, knowledge and creativity.
Kathy was very patient the during the entire time especially as we struggled to make decisions. We feel she went above and beyond in helping us feel comfortable with our final selections. We never felt rushed and she continued to offer additional alternatives until we were satisfied. However, once we made up our mind, she always had the ability to get our decorating projects done on time and within budget.
Also, she was instrumental in finding a professional painter and paperhanger for us and even helped us decide on paint colors and wallpaper selections.

It's so hard to write this because I truly don't feel that I have the right words to describe what a great experience it has been working with Kathy to decorate my house. My taste is pretty traditional but I'm also very timid when it comes to color so I stick with earth tones. When building our new house I knew how I wanted it to feel but also wanted it to be more bright and colorful.
After my first phone conversation with Kathy I felt that I could work well with her. She was easy going, encouraging and understood my trepidation. I wanted it to be my (our) house, not someone else's interpretation of what we wanted.
Throughout the process Kathy was patient and persistent in finding out my likes and dislikes. I don't know exactly when it happened but I was finally able to come out of the haze of my earth tone cocoon and really embrace the colors that I love. And now I have the beautifully decorated home that I've always dreamed. A place that is elegant, welcoming and homey, while being bright and fun at the same time.
There is not even one item that Kathy helped me choose that I have a single regret about.
This is in no way as eloquent as I would like it to be but I think you'll get the gist. Suffice it to say, I cannot never imagine being able to thank Kathy for what she's done for me. She helped me turn my dream house into a home. I am truly grateful. More...

My husband and I have worked with Barbara and Jennifer of Decorating Den (The Sisters), since 2013 and they are phenomenal! I still wake up every morning admiring how beautifully decorated my home is, never having imagined it being in magazines, on postcards, in houzz and on calendars to say the least. In 2013 my focus was on downstairs which they totally transformed,.We are currently on another project as the excitement continues in 2016 . Kathy helped me with several projects; finding the best curtains for my living room windows and sliding glass door, determining the right covers for my dining room chairs and making suggestions for rearranging some living room furniture.

Kathy's suggestions were always helpful and have helped to make my condo a comfortable place to live.

Deb started with my living room and helped me pick out wallpaper and paint. I never would have thought about wallpaper, but it looks terrific. Then I asked her to assist me in selecting colors for my study and bedroom. and she provided a list of contractors. Again the results were spectular.Then, Deb helped me pick out tile for a batheroom floor and now she is working with me on another bathroos--tiel, paint, lighting and cabinets.

She is professional, prompt, and is a very hard worker, but has a very personable side as well.

I was moving into a new house and I needed someone that could coordinate the sub contractors for doing the painting, setting up the drapes, coordinating the refinishing the floor - and laying out the home for furniture etc.

Deborah helped furnish and decorate my new home. When the day came for the "Big Reveal" of my living room ,dining room and entry hall, I was very excited and expecting good things.
