The staff is awesome. it is what you make it. I'll always think of it as home that's why I have my three children enrolled in any bad situation it's never made me feel different. Out of control kids should be maintained by parents you can't blame staff it's just times have changed I love the board members for D7 only complaint I've ever had is with students kids being kids n ext every public school goes through things every school is at risk of anything but I can say the staff does their best. Tbh I’m a stuffing everyone acts like our school is bad and all the teachers are terrible. But I’m here to give my honest opinion, I would highly recommend this school. The teachers are really lenient with missing work and certain parts of the behavior system, NO MATTER WHAT SCHOOL YOU GO TO THERE ALWAYS WILL BE KIDS THAT ARE COMPLETELY IDIOTIC. I have 5 kids in the district. My oldest is in middle school. He's been in the district for the past 2 years. It's our first year at the elementary school for my other 4 kids, and hands down we feel at home, and we feel like the school treats us like family. Both principle's have Facebook parent groups where parents are ALWAYS informed about what's going on, and as a parent I always feel like my voice is being heard. More...

my kid has had some of the best teachers I have ever known. Teachers who from kindergarten have met the need to challange him and help him grow. I cannot say enough how thankful I am for the men and women who devote their time, energy, and money to any childs education, but I do feel d7 has been exceptional in their devotion to education,as well as fun and safety. I have lived in D7 for over 40 years and I am PROUD TO SAY ALL 5 of my kids as well as my husband and I have attended D7 schools. 2 down 3 to go. I am very excited for the Districts new Asst superintendent & Superintendent and have high hopes they will make this District great again. Every district has rough patches, just remember it’s all what you make of it! I love D7!! My children have been in this district since kindergarten, and they both will be graduating before I know it. I've never had a problem with any teachers their communication skills are wonderful and their disciplinary system is on point.
