What makes a great website?
A great website or app accomplishes whatever goals the organization has for it in a manner that is measurable. Graphic design, User Experience (UX), specific technologies used, and all other considerations support those goals. Examples of great (effective) software on the simplistic UI end include Google and Craigslist. Others that need "higher design" to connect emotionally with their audience and cary their brands include Apple, and Netflix. We want to hear from you what you think makes a great website, and we'll help you create it.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
1. What are the goals you have for the project? 2. How can we measure how well the project achieves those goals? 3. What other considerations (time, budget, milestones, demos, preferences) should we know about? 4. Are there similar projects (websites, apps, tools) that you think have done well or have done poorly? 5. What's the smallest think we can get you that is useful? How can we build on that to provide your whole vision?
Describe your creative process.
We start by asking about your goals and constraints. Then, together, we identify the smallest/fastest solution we can deliver that adds value. Next, we iteratively add features, functionality, and style as you need it. We constantly split our focus between what you may want one day, eventually, and what we can deliver quickly, now.

I love working with clients across industries and projects types to gain exposure to different business models and ways of thinking. Developing relationships with innovative leaders and business owners makes work seem like play.
