Big WTH??! to the ‘genius’ that decided to have minimal toilet facilities for one of the busiest airports in the world. If you have men’s 25+ lines and over 50 for women’s rooms, proves a massive deficiency in meeting the needs of your customers Or is SEATAC in on the ‘discourage travel thru public traumatization’ scheme??!

Expanding terminal. Nice and clean however, it's long walk to immigration and customs if you arrive from international. No train.

Careful if you're a lone and young traveler coming to the USA via this airport, when I was 19, I was held behind by you know who, for 4 HOURS getting bullied into trying to say things such as being someone's bride and when that didn't work, they asked if I was bringing substances into the country. They were towering over me, asking rapid fire questions and intimidating me, trying to coerce a scenario onto me. I've been terrified of traveling, all I wanted was to see a mountain for the first time in my life, and get a break from my life. I should have sued. More...

The WORST airport EVER! Even worse than LAX LAS and other busy airports in other major cities! I have never ever seen a TSA that was run SO inefficiently to the point there were three different backed up lines each with a bunch of loops! We always come early hence did not foresee this and bought pre TSA, otherwise we would have. Terminals aren't even all interconnected and some take a long time as you have to hop on a train that does not always come right away if you're with C and N gates. All in all, so much time wasted to get on between spots. Seattle is a beautiful city with lots of valuable sights to see but this has gotten to be officially the worst airport experience so far in my travels. Horrible horrible horrible nightmare! More...

It's now easier to locate parking spots (that is, if there are any available at all) with the indicator lights. Wish they color code the door number signs at the Arrival lane for easier visibility. It's great they're adding more places to eat. More...

It’s an airport, busy and expensive to park at for extended periods of time. Many options for eating and gift shopping as you see fit. Security lines can take up to an hour, although most of the time I can get through in about 30 min. If you have special needs, let your airline reps know in advance and they can help coordinate TSA to support you through the security checkpoints faster. More...

During peak times, you're going to need every bit of two hours to get through security, but the lines are managed well and the personnel are friendly despite the volume of people passing through. I would leave yourself more than two hours so you can enjoy the food in the terminals. More...

I've walked around the perimeter and interior of this short to long-haul airport many times and have had more layovers here than I can remember. If I had to guess I'd say I've flown either in or out of this airport at least 30 times. It is usually ok getting through the airport crowd-wise. However, construction is vurrently in place at the time of this review and sometimes may cause you to take a slight 1-2 minute long delay. Even with this though, it shouldn't be a long process to get straight to your gate. Underground trains are provided and for the most part you can walk from the north to the south part of the airport from just a single path. On a clear day, the mountains will reflect BEAUTIFUL sunrises and sunsets. It is an EXTREMELY good area to plane spot because many small roads lead you right under the approach line or roght next to the runway. Traffic is usually fairly heavy, but it flows nicely. The 3 runways are 16L/34R; 16C/34C; and 16R/34L. It is a nice and mostly clean airport that is fairly respectable. I've never had any problems with any of the gate agents, TSA, or flight attendants going out of SeaTac. More...

Worst airport for returning to the United States from another country. I've been outside the US probably 40 times in the last 22 years. There is no excuse for the incoming customs headaches at this airport. Coming back from Japan on Jan 8th 2024, I had a 3.5 hour lay over. I was in line at customs for exactly 3.5 hours. Of course my flight departed as soon as I cleared the customs line. I'd have to assume most passengers this day missed their connections. They don't have enough officers processing incoming passengers. When I did speak to the customs officer, he was a nice enough guy, no issues there. They just needed maybe 10 to 15 more on staff.
