Thank you to Manny for being an exceptional trainer who not only accommodated us into his schedule but also made it easy to pay for his much needed services. I have a primitive/ancient breed - a Vietnamese Ridgeback, who is now a bit more confident and less fearful aggressive now. For a little context - my dog is not a pet me dog at all, out of 10 people he might like 1, same goes for dogs of any size. He can be defiant/stubborn and will test the shit out of u if he doesn't want to do something. He has quite the personality! I have never met a dog like mine, so different from my 2 previous big domesticated dogs. I knew I needed someone who worked with working type/hunting/high energy dogs. In comes, Manny! I had previously hired another trainer but the transfer of "power" and the training were lost due to covid, and the search after that was like a full-time job vetting all these "trainers". Thank god for Manny! He drove down to my home to do hands-on training for 1hr 1x a week, he was SO helpful with his analogies that it was easier to understand the training and apply it. To date, my dog is a lot easier to "control" and we have a much better/engaged relationship. He is still a work in progress but working with Manny has made me more confident as an owner and I was able to retain the training because of the in-person training/video recordings where Manny would correct what I was or wasn't doing. Manny is the real deal, he loves his job and the dogs he works with. He is skilled in assessing, providing insight and most importantly - HE TEACHES/CORRECTS/GUIDES YOU what to do because at the end of the day, we are not professional dog trainers. I thought that I had done my research on Giant Schnauzers and was well prepared to have one, but the 10-week old puppy we brought home had not been socialized well, was stubborn, and aggressive to the point of us coming to the realization that if we we’re going to keep her and didn’t want her to be a liability to us or anyone else, she needed some serious training, from an expert. I googled with the intention of finding someone reputable, experienced, caring, and who could educate us. I found the best, Manuel Hernandez. Manuel is the person that made the difference between us keeping our puppy or finding her a new home. He not only did wonders with our puppy, but also with us. The parents and the pup need to be trained. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and has an innate gift with dogs. After three weeks with Manuel, our puppy came back much improved and she loves Manuel to this day. Worth every cent. Manuel is an expert trainer and an amazing human being. I sent my puppy Bosa for 2 weeks with manny and he loved it. Manny is so knowledgeable with his craft and training. Bosa learned a lot about we continue to do the work that manny thought him at home so he can retain it. It was an incredible experience to work with Manni!! He transformed our shelty teenager (2 years old) to a very sophisticated young lady. We learned SO much from Manni, knowledge that we are applying in our everyday training on Shelby. Before we met Manni, Shelby was hyper-active out in public; she jumped on everybody because she loves people. Now, however, she is so well behaved, and everybody loves her. I highly recommend Manni to train any dogs!!! He WILL get your dog to behave after a few minutes of training!! Actually, our Shelby learned how to walk the leash ONLY within two minutes with Manni's instruction. We, ourselves, were not able to train her to walk the leash before we met Manni. My baby, Winnie, just came home two weeks ago from boarding and training with Kristi. Kristi is amazing and I can tell that Winnie became very attached to her for the 4 weeks they were together. Though I know I still have a lot of work to do on my end for Winnie to retain everything she learned with Kristi, I know the foundation is there. Rocco was struggling with manners and had a very short attention span before he went to training with #kristithetrainer and dawgzNstripes: He spent 4 weeks away from home and during that time I would receive videos of the different commands that he was learning, so that we could reference back to them once he got home. I send my pup to Paws and Stripes for board and train and had a great experience. Kristi scheduled a phone consultation to ask about Kona (our dog) and to see what we were looking to achieve through using board and train services. She had tons of knowledge and is clearly very experienced in dog training. After that Kristi came to pick up the dog and training started immediately. Throughout the time Kristi was quick to respond to texts and provided photos and videos. When Kona came home after 3 weeks she was like a new dog! Her manners were unbelievable and her ability to follow commands was sharp! Even now, a week after Kona coming home she has retained her new skills. Kristi also provided a training handbook that she wrote. It is filled with useful information to continue training even after your pup comes home. I have a Boston Terrier his name is Stitch. my pup was always acting out , barely listened , peeing in the house, pulling when being walked on a leash. Our dog went to Manny for behavior training and came back an entirely different dog. When we sent Marley to Manny he was marking in the house, chewing our belongings, jumping on people, surfing the countertops to steal food and belongings and was overall a lot to manage.
Although he is a sweet dog in nature, it was taking a toll on our household. Our dog is three years old so we knew he was no longer considered a “puppy.”
While Marley was away, Manny sent us sets of videos each week where we could see his progression. Not only was he being trained, but we could also see that Manny cared for our dog and gave him the love and attention he needed while he was there. In the videos, Manny set clear expectations for Marley and also described the techniques and commands so that we could practice them and continue them at home.
Marley has been home for several days and the difference is amazing. He is more confident, he knows his commands, he isn’t taking and destroying our belongings, and uses the backyard to go to the bathroom. On the seldom occasions where he jumps up, I give the command and he knows to stop and sit down. He has an overall calmer demeanor because he knows what is expected, but is still our loving, happy dog.
We can’t thank Manny enough for helping us with Marley. We highly recommend him for any training that you may need for your pet.

I was at my wits end with my Malinois/German Shepard pup. I was lucky that Manny had posted on Nextdoor app about his dog training experience. So I called him up on a late Sunday afternoon. I told him the issue I was having with Legend. The following week he took him in and started his world class training. The rest is history. Manny's treats your dog as his own. I highly recommend, Adrastos Dog Training. He is very professional with the training, he always answered questions about our dogs well being. Guides you on techniques on what you should or shouldn't do. Keeps you updated/ educated even after the trianing is over. He sees our fur babies as his, and treats as such ! From the first conversation I had with Manny to every text or phone call that I look forward to having Manny has been genuinely involved and cares. I took Nala to see Manny and his wife twice before we decided it would be best to stay with him for 6 weeks to complete her training. The first consult, Manny instantly connected with Nala and educated me a great deal on my pup. She was very aggressive and with her protective nature, she wanted to attack what seemed threatening to her family. Throughout her training, Manny sent videos and updates on her progressions. Constant reminders of our pup helped reassure my family that she was ok and we got to watch her grow. When we got Nala back, she was a completely different pup but she remembered us and now she is a lot calmer, and not ready to attack anything and everything. Yes, we offer remote training services to accommodate clients who prefer virtual training sessions. Through virtual sessions, we can address a wide range of training needs, including basic obedience, behavioral challenges, and even some advanced training. Our experienced trainers provide step-by-step guidance, demonstrations, and interactive coaching via video calls. Virtual training is a convenient and effective way to work with our trainers from the comfort of your own home, while still receiving personalized attention and support.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We sanitize, use the required PPE and we social distance from most people since most of my crew work directly with dogs most of their day.
Basic and Advanced Obedience Board and Train Programs: 2 to 4 weeks
Each program will be customized, and your dog will enjoy the training weeks living with your trainer and socializing with other dogs and humans while learning the skills you're looking for: from potty and crate training, greeting manners and staying calm in one place, to off leash walking and recall. We will upgrade your dog's current skills for you and teach you how to continue developing them after the training program.
Puppies up to 6 months: 2-3 weeks
Puppies and adult dogs over 6 months: 3-4 weeks
Anxiety and Aggression Rehabilitation Board and Train Programs: 4 to 6 weeks
These rehabilitation programs will be tailor made to your dog's current behavior and your desired results. We will tell you from the start what outcome you can expect from this training, keep you updated with your dog's progress and show you what and how you have to continue working with your dog so it doesn't regress to the anxious or aggressive behaviors.
Protection Training: 6 months
Your dog will develop the skills to protect you and your household after passing evaluation at the end of basic obedience training. Protection training is not only about alerting you when something is not alright, but attack an aggressor if need be.
Emotional Support Dog Training: 4 months
Emotional Support dogs are well balanced dogs that are well trained and able to help their pet parents through difficult times. We train the dogs to be well behaved and can train specific tasks to help you make your days easier. Dogs must pass an evaluation to be able to attend this training.
Virtual One-to-One Training Sessions: 4 to 8 weeks
Is your schedule tight? Do you live far from our trainers Your trainer can teach you to train your dog remotely through your laptop, tablet or phone guiding you every step of the way, offering you undivided attention during your sessions and answering your questions between sessions to make sure you always know what to do.
