Trisha worked with our puppy Albus from 4 months old and it made a world of difference in his behavior! He’s now grown to 102 pounds of fluff ball love and her training is great. My fur baby kept jumping our fence and adventuring into our neighbors yard. She eventually ended up going to Doggy jail,,she was heading to a life of crime. Update: I spoke with Trisha in regards to a communication concern and she offered to meet with KC and I to try to overcome the concern I am having. ..Trisha is extremely caring about what she does and she wants all of her clients (dogs included) to be successful. I have learned that communication is very important to her for our success. She provides you with the tools you need for both you and your dog to succeed but you have to do your part. You can tell she loves what she does. I went from having an extremely reactive service dog to a service dog that I can now walk off leash. If you are looking for an obedience trainer you can count on Trisha, she will ALWAYS be there when you need her. I cannot thank Trisha enough for giving me and my dog confidence to be around other dogs, large crowds, etc. My Australian shepherd is super sweet, but he was difficult to walk on a leash and would be reactive towards other dogs while he was on a leash. I was quite nervous because I was moving out of state within a short period, but luckily I was able to work with Trisha for 7 sessions and I can honestly say my Aussie is night and day since he went through training. He will heal, walk calmly on a leash and he was able to do group training to the Farmers Market. Trisha was a God send and I cannot thank her enough! We were overwhelmed with a 40 pound rescue 10 month old puppy that loved jumping on us. We could keep her attention for any sort of training. Trisha came in and the first five minutes were a miracle. She had to teach us how to teach our Belle. I continue to take Belle to the complimentary group classes 2x per week to keep up on her new skills. Trisha knows dogs and can spot drama on the spot. I literally can’t say enough wonderful things about Trisha and her training. I will be honest that we were on the fence to sign up because of cost, but and I am SO GLAD we made the investment. What a HUGE difference we have seen in our dog in the short time she has worked with us. You can not put a price on being able to take your dog literally anywhere and know they will behave. We receive multiple compliments about how well behaved our dog is every time we take him out. So many great and no-stress times are ahead for me and my dog because of this training! Trisha is fantastic! We have 2 rescues with very different personalities and they were very hard to control. Our big dog, Diesel, just seemed to be scared of everything, which was coming out as aggression to other people/dogs. Our little dog, Coal, was just NOT interested in obeying us in any way. We couldn't take the dogs out in public, and it was hard enough just to walk them in our own neighborhood! Trisha taught US how to be in control of our pups. Within the first hour of our first lesson, both dogs were actually listening to (and obeying) commands. Both dogs quickly recognized that they had to listen to Trisha, then they started listening to us! Each lesson brought us more in control of our dogs. We've been able to bring them to public places and they behave very well! We love working with Trisha, she makes it so fun. And we'll be taking advantage of the free refresher lessons she offers! I had adopted an American Bulldog mix last year who was not responding well to treat training. Rogue had almost debilitating anxiety and extreme resource aggression, and I didn't know what to do. A friend referred me to Trisha, and I am so glad she did. I saw a difference after the demo! We are so excited with the progress our rescue has made since we started working with Dawg Phonics!!!! Our dog has learned so much in the few short weeks! I refer every dog owner I meet to Trisha! I had the grand idea of getting a half great Dane half English mastiff puppy and knowing he could get up to 220lbs I wanted to be sure he was well trained! I also have a 2 yr old basset hound who was beyond stubborn but incredibly smart so I decided to sign them both up with trish...within the first 3 sessions both my babies were heel walking without a leash, coming when called, and were overall model citizens! Since then my daniff has gone on to do weekly therapy sessions at a nearby rehab center. Everyone is always impressed how my 170lb dog could possibly be so well trained, calm, and sweet! (And he's not even a year old yet!!) And my basset...well she's done everything from rehab to agility courses to just being a good girl! We love you trish!! Trish has certainly found her calling.We are animal lovers and pet owners, just not dog trainers, so we needed training as well. We have a high energy, 88 lb yellow lab anda 4 month old playmate for her which is a Portuguese Water Dog/Std Poodle mix.They are now bonded and adorable.Before the training, my wife could not walk the lab because she would not heal and was much stronger pulling on the leash. The lab is very sweet and wanted to jump up on every one.Dies not happen now.In a very shirt time, the progress of the training and obedience is amazing, not only to us, but to our neighbors as well. They are now very well behaved in public & pet friendly places and are so much more enjoyable.The pups are much happier with their new freedom and play time on daily walks- no tension on the leash, but I do admit, they need to work on their typing skills!We are delighted with Trish and how she has helped all of us, including our owners.
