Davie Motorsport Euro Specialist

About a week-and-a-half ago, I called in to see if Davie Motorsport would be able to conduct a pre-purchase inspection for a 991. 1 GT3.  When buying a used or pre-owned car, especially one that is out of state, having a PPI done prior to the transaction of sale/purchase of a vehicle goes a long way towards assurance and peace of mind.  Having never bought a car--used or otherwise--in south FL before, I already knew I was going to have to rely on the mechanic/auto shop I chose to be my eyes on the ground to help me understand the true condition of the vehicle along with any issues or red flags that might be presented.Although DMS seems like it's a busy shop, once I was able to get Doron on the phone to start the PPI process, the ball got rolling.  He *personally* took it upon himself to see to it that the PPI was handled thoroughly and competently under his watch as he realized what that meant to an out-of-town buyer who would never "see" the vehicle prior to sale or delivery.He and his team conducted what appeared to be a fairly comprehensive checklist of for the 991.1 in question and gave the vehicle a thumbs-up and passing score all the while highlighting some areas to pay attention to including a battery that was on the verge of being dead, a possible head gasket oil leak/seepage and belt pulley that might need replacing.For me, what helped set my mind at ease was the detail in which the report was presented.  Doron sent me a personalized link highlighting all the areas that were inspected along with accompanying photos and documentation of what was looked at.  At times, I noticed photos from several angles and an explanation of what was checked--something that an absentee/out-of-town buyer like myself would have to rely on.To top it off, Doron himself called me after (standard business) hours to walk me through the report and checklist of items that were inspected to make sure I understood what I was looking at.  We must have spent at least 30-40 minutes on that final call itself and, considering I was an out of town buyer, I genuinely appreciated his thoroughness and personalized care in helping me feel at ease throughout the entire PPI process.In summary, glad to have found a stand-up shop like Doron's in south FL to handle such pre-purchase inspections as it opens up that region for me when shopping for used exotics as I would not have previously considered the area without having a reliable eyes-on-the-ground partner like DMS.  Needless, to say--I appreciated the personalized care and great service. At a party Sunday night and my car wouldn't start. Thought it was the battery, but after buying a new one...still no luck. I searched for a garage in the area that worked on BMWs and found this one. Had my car towed here and left my keys in the mailbox. Contacted them Monday morning and by Tuesday morning it was good to go. It needed a new starter. Professional, competitive pricing and friendly staff.  I researched for about a year for an independent repair/service shop as an alternative to the dealership service.  I found Davie Motorsport and finally took my CLS550 in.  I asked for 4 different services and my adviser was helpful and courteous enough to research and recommend that 3 of the services were not actually needed at my mileage.  Very helpful and honest. My wife had an accident in her new Mercedes and I needed a body shop to work with my insurance company, Tried the two local Mercedes dealers and with one the auto phone system kept on sending me back to the main line when I pressed body shop. the other was too busy to answer my messages for a call back.   Googled body shops in the Davie area and found Davie motors European auto specialist with all 5 star reviews. Gave them a call and spoke with a real person secretary Deirdre a true Irish angel and then spoke with Gito the service manager who told me to come down for estimate.  Had been trying to go through USAA but was getting run around. Met with George my service adviser and Gito and got estimate. Gito sent estimate to USAA and I got a runaround for almost three weeks.  Gito worked with me and finally got approval from USAA. Thanks to Gito keeping me informed as to what USAA was doing wrong.Took the car in to drop off late on a Friday night and met the owner Doron and Gito at 10pm still at work at the shop. Was very very impressed.     Left car and three days later it was done. Really, Really great work done by body man Jose. He even repaired other areas that had not been done by Mercedes during prep for New car delivery one month prior. Now the office ,shop and bathrooms are the cleanest I have ever seen. I went to Davie Motors European Specialist after being  highly recommended to them by a Friend.  Gito spoke with me at length, outstanding communicator and said my BMW 328i needs to be flushed out, he then provided me with a quote,  Doron the owner came over to explain everything to me as well and made sure I was satisfied, My BMW runs like a top now and they both asked me to check back just to make sure everything is great. This was my second time here. Dropped off my car with the following concerns. Warning light for washer fluid malfunctioning, warning light for right low beam alerting, tire pressure alerting and oil change needed. While specializing in european and luxury cars, Davie Motorsports, and their talented technicians, prides themselves in the deliberate attention to each individual vehicle that comes intro their shop. When I walked in they were working on two Bentley's, a few classic BMW's, and some modern Mercedes Benz's. All doubts I had about them were immediately gone, and I knew I could trust these guys.  Beyond the excellent customer service, they carefully and honestly inspected my car and suggested their recommendations. Their prices are some of the most competitive I've seen, beating the dealerships ten fold. I waited 3 months since the service and am finally ready to review these guys. The price they charged is definitely a bargain for very professional service. It did take them a few days to do the work and I'm sure they are still scratching their head about my insistence they change the transmission fluid. I own and drive a 2005 Volvo XC70. Volvo is the only car company who uses a Turbo as part of their entire line of cars. So if you want a small motor that can put out power Volvo is the place to start. The only problem with my 180,000 car is the typical 2005 Volvo transmission problem. So instead of replacing the transmission, I've opted to replace the fluid to combat the infamous downshift problem. While the car was in the shop, it did develop a leak in the radiator. For something like this, I normally would have simply added radiator leak stop chemical to the fluid, but they insisted on replacing the radiator. They cut the price of this to make it attractive enough to replace. I'm very happy with their service and as a result of the new radiator, I plan to keep the car for another year. Wow, these guys are great!I purchased tires in July of 2016, however, at the end of February of 2017 one of them developed a slow leak.  I called as soon as i noticed the problem and they took my car immediately.  In spite of being very busy--their garage and lot were full of customer vehicles--they repaired the problem and my car was ready that afternoon without hassle or charge.These guys do a great business and really take care of their customers.  I would recommend them to anyone in need of auto repair and service. Took my 07 530i for a routine oil and oil filter change. Took about 1.5 hrs total and had me on my way. The waiting room was super comfortable and had coffee, water and clean restroom.

Outstanding customer service!!! I have never had to complete a major repair on my 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera and since this was the first time around I was very skeptical on what shop to use to get the job done right, so after many calls to local dealerships and porsche mechanic shops in my area, I came across this shop and decided to go for it after reading all the positive reviews online. From the beginning (Gio) was very helpful and patient with me and he did an excellent job explaining the process and the cost that would be involved with the repair which made me very comfortable. So I decided to schedule a visit for an initial inspection and I was very impressed on the cleanliness of the office and shop. I actually have to say, this is by far the best automotive repair shop I have ever been to.They are fast, friendly, and best of all HONEST. It seems all too difficult to find an honest, respectable business, especially when it comes to automotive service and repair.My experience: I was sitting in the parking lot and my radiator fan was vibrating. Out of nowhere it shattered. Being that I was close to my house, I managed to drive it home safely,  and noticed a puddle of oil on my garage floor. I simply searched Google to find a place that had high ratings and came across this shop, which to my surprise (until now) is rated five stars. The next morning, I decided to call a tow truck and before the shop opened my car was dropped off and I had called and left a message with my contact information. It did not take long after they opened for them to return my call to clarify my issue. They were able to look at it and told me exactly what the problem was.My radiator fan busted and it punctured my oil cooler. They were able to get the parts and fix the car within a couple of days. They did not try to offer services or repairs I didn't need. When I picked up my car, both of the guys who were working were very friendly and respectful. As I was looking around the office and the shop from outside, everything appeared clean and orderly. I found this shop as a result of a Yelp search (based on reviews and distance) and am very pleased. To be honest, at first I was a little skeptical after seeing nothing but 5 Star reviews and was questioning to myself if "friends & family" were the submitting the reviews.  After basically spending the last two days here (I connected to their wifi and logged into my job from their lobby while they worked on my vehicle), I can confirm that they are very customer service oriented. I felt welcomed before I even walked into the lobby (one of their mechanics greeted me as I was approaching the shop after I parked my car). Once inside the lobby I was warmly welcomed by Doron (the owner) and Gio (works in the office).  I must say, that "warm" welcome was an indication of how my experience would carry out and already a huge deviation from my previous experiences at different service & repair shops throughout the South Florida area. Doron personally worked on my car and explained & detailed the situation every step of the way. Not once did he try to "con" me or "nickel & dime" at all. He obviously respects & appreciates his customers, and values the importance of their satisfaction & return business. Not to mention the importance of referrals (Yelp & the Yelp community is a great case in point). Their prices are fair and competitive with the rest of the market. What they deliver better is their service. From that regard, you are getting a great deal!  So for me, based on my own personal experience, those Yelp reviews didn't seem quite so suspect to me anymore ;)I gave Four stars for now as I have a follow up appointment in about a week because he wants to take a look at the car again to make sure everything is in order and the fixes he made were correct and worked. Excellent Shop!!!  They're service was very professional, at a fare rate. Very clean and organized. The technician was able to identify the source of an engine stutter in my car that previous mechanics were not able to resolve.  From my experience, if you own an European car, take it to a shop that knows those cars, and this shop knows them.  They even take pictures of the parts they're replacing and keep you informed on the progress, you don't need to constantly call and request  an update.  A+ Service.  Will definitely use them again if my car needs service or repairs. Took my 2009 GTI to diagnose an engine oil leak. The crew spent several hours cleaning the engine, and running it to determine exactly where the leak was coming from. Turned out to be the timing chain cover and PCV. They also changed several other seals in the area that would most likely need replacement soon (I'm at 85K). All this done at a very reasonable price with no added labor for the extra seals, they also kept the car for me for 2 days due to my conflicting work schedule. High quality, reliable service by professional & certified technicians. Great experience! One of the most important decisions to make - usually after your bumper-to-bumper warranty and /or full maintenance program runs out - is where to have your car serviced, since any repairs are no longer free. I had been 'groomed' for years to only trust the dealership (in my case BMW), but once I started paying for service and repairs, I realized I needed to find an equally reliable but more affordable option. Not only did I find an alternative, I truly discovered a gem in Davie Motors after reading their reviews! I was beyond satisfied with my service and have already recommended them to my friends and coworkers. I'm very picky about where I take my cars, but they exceeded my expectations. Excellent repair facility. I took my Volvo in for a radiator replacement. Although I purchased the parts elsewhere I did not have access to a lift. I hear about Davie Motors and have only accolades for Doron and his staff. After he'd done the job (which was done within a few hours) he followed me out to the car and showed me the things he'd done for added strength/safety at no extra charge.
