I thought the food was pretty decent and the kids had a ton of fun playing games. My one and only complaint is they're mixed drinks. We had our company Christmas Party here last month and it was a nice experience. I will say the food served was bar food and not that great, but we were there more for the games than the food. Our company gave us a $20 game card that included unlimited arcade games. I ended up spending another $40 on the games give out tickets/points. So for $60 I ended up with a mini-football from the gift shop and won 2 stuffed animals on the claw machines. Money goes really fast on these kind of games. Thank goodness for the free arcade games. I was able to play a lot of those. Service was good, but they were a little understaffed for a party of 150 or so; they only provided us like 3 or 4 servers which made getting drinks difficult. We held our Holiday Party at the Springfield D&B December 2019. Â Amazing service and delicious food! We had 21 former members of the military with their plus ones and families in attendance. And drink tickets in hand. The staff did an incredible job of keeping up with that! Food was delicious. Â We reserved a room so the comradery could roll, which it did! I've been to this new Dave & Buster's a handful of times. Both when it is super busy and when the crowd is not so bad. I can honestly say I did not experience any change in quality of service. I'm not a big fan of self seating areas in a chaotic free-for-all arcade such as Dave & Buster's though. I just feel with the amount of foot traffic they get, they should do away with it because otherwise people are walking around the table areas tryna look for a place to sit. If you're like me, then go straight to the hostess stand when you come in and try to get a table that requires them to see you. The food itself was delicious our waitress was the greatest and we did not wait long to get anything. Once we paid of course we decided to hit the floor and play some games. With the lights and the noise, it's easy to get overwhelmed on the game floor, but take. A deep breath and soldier on because some of the games are a real treat! More...

Although it took forever to get our drinks despite it not being busy, they definitely made up for it. The manager personally handled the rest of our time there and even gave us a free dessert! The food was good. My one son got the Surf and Turf kids meal and ate all of it. My other son got the Chicken strips kids meal and kept talking about how good it was. We experienced great service and a delightful meal. My salmon with zucchini linguine was delicious! Dave and Buster's is not designed for small children; it's more for adults who want to play, eat, and drink. if you want kid-friendly, go the Chuckie Cheese. This was my family's first time visiting Dave and Busters and it was such a pleasant experience. Rita (I hope I got her name correct) our waitress, was amazing! She was very attentive, especially bc we do have small children and it can be overwhelming having to ask for several things (at times). She made our time here easy from start to finish and I appreciate it. She even rounded up other employees and sang, 'happy birthday', to my daughter. This was my first time visiting this D&B location and was a bit hesitant given the negative reviews, however, my kiddo and I had a blast during our recent visit. We came during around 2pm during Christmas break and had the place basically to ourselves. No waits for all of our favorite games so we could play as much as we wanted. This location is a bit smaller than the one off 75 & Walnut Hill but they have all of the essentials, including my fave VR Jurassic Park game!They lose 1 star for the dining area though. You have to walk through it to get to the arcade and it looked unkempt (i.e. unbussed tables, trash) though there were only a few customers eating. That's always a red flag for me. And I could definitely see this being an issue on a busy Saturday night. Overall, this location is just like any other D&B - a great place to have fun! More...
