Q&As

I think for me, one of the biggest secrets to getting great photographs is building a rapport with my clients. It is key that we're able to communicate and share ideas. I want my clients to feel comfortable in front of my camera, that way I'm able to capture them authentically. If the subject isn't comfortable in front of the camera it shows in the photographs, and nobody wants that.

Well, it all depends on the type of photography my client is looking for. If they were interested in an engagement session I would start by asking them if they had any locations in mind that are significant to them, or what their like and dislikes are in terms of engagement photography. I like to ask a lot of questions to really get to know my clients better before our shoot. It also helps me gauge if we're a good fit. My main goal is to provide my clients with beautiful photos that not only show them in their best light, but capture them in a genuine and authentic way.

This is a tough one. As I mentioned in previous answers, I really love working with and getting to know my clients, but I have to say the part I love most is taking the photos. Editing is fun, and I love hearing that my clients are happy with the photos and how they look, but there's just something about the photo shoot itself. That's where all the magic and creativity happens for me.

Well, ever since I was a little girl I had a camera in my hands. I know that sounds cliche but it's true. I've felt the need to capture and document people and places my entire life. I knew taking photos was something I wanted to continue doing throughout my life, so I went to school for it and that's pretty much when I knew I wanted to start my own photography business. I love making art for myself but it's so much more rewarding when I can capture someones special day, or a significant moment in their lives. It's about more than just photography for me. It's making sure moments are captured and beautifully preserved so my clients can look back on them for the rest of their lives.

If you're looking for someone who takes the time to get to know you, and understand your needs before hand you should choose me. I do more than just show up at the agreed upon shoot time and take pictures. I care about my clients and want to provide them with the best service possible. I like to tell stories through my photographs, and it's hard to do that if I don't understand my clients and their needs.
