Daniel GreenWolf: Celtic Magician

Puts on a great show for both kids and adults!

I have seen Daniel Greenwolf perform multiple times, and the variety of styles is very strong.
Some performances emphasize magic and a certain whimsy, with a mix of fire and "large scale" as well as more subtle things, but consistently bringing an enthusiasm and humor that makes everything he does feel "wonderfully energetic. "
Other times he has given very thoughtful and heartfelt talks about the history and culture of both the Celts and the practice of stage magic.
He has a wealth of knowledge behind his various performances, but he also adapts very readily (to the point where you never realize he "skipped a joke" until you see another show where the audience reacts differently).
He has a wonderful habit of creating little narratives with the audience, which help them to feel engaged and active in the performance.
I've also seen him perform with other people, and quickly develop a strong on stage rapport, (again) creating a kind of narrative that exists independent of the tricks performed.
He is also a skilled event organizer who regularly helps to run Ren Fairs (in addition to performing at them).
In general, if he's involved in an event, I trust the event is going to be solid (both because he's a part of it, but also because I think he has a good eye for quality events and people). More...

Daniel has a way of establishing an instant relationship with the audience. He commands a crowd in such a natural way as to seem effortless. The routines run from simple and rustic to very complex illusions to fire stunts that are very impressive. Bella plays the part of lovely assistant, foil, and sometimes the real star of the show. They are both fantastic people with whom to work. He was working entertaining lines of people that were grumpy waiting their turn for other attractions. He had kids through seniors laughing and watching within seconds of starting, and kept customers happy for hours. Highly recommend.

The first time I saw Dan perform, he had my heart in my throat part of the time and tears in my eyes the rest of the time. I've seen him at least a dozen times, and have loved every performance, whether he makes me laugh, cry, hold my breath, or just think. Not only is he a fine magician, he's a STELLAR story-teller.

I've been behind the scenes with Dan as well, watching him encourage, support, praise, caretake, extol, problem solve for, and coordinate his fellow performers. He's an absolute workhorse behind the scenes. But what I love best about seeing him in that capacity is watching his genuine love and affection for those who work with and for him.
