My daughter was unable to continue there because she injured her back. I asked them repeatedly to put her membership on hold and they keep charging me until I can physically go in an sign a cancellation. I have not had the chance to do so yet. Not sure why they couldn’t put it on hold when they were able to when she wasn’t able to come during school volleyball season. More...

Poor customer service. Asked for an extension on a 20 session pass and they refused. When I purchased the sessions they didn’t tell me they were going to summer hours. Once summer hours hit, there was no way I could get my child to their sessions. I reached out numerous of times with no response. Until a month before they expired. For them to tell me there is still 20 days left in the month that my child could still use the days. So now my $300+ went to their pockets without working for it. Corporate office’s voicemail box has been full for months. I even sent them an email with no response. All around terrible service! Especially in the pandemic we are living in. More...

Paraphrasing the Bible here.. “As iron sharpens iron, so may a friend sharpen a friend.” I don’t know about all D1’s but I can certainly speak to the one here in Pickerington and that rings truer than true. From the moment you walk through the door, the owners Jason and Danielle threat you more like family than friends. They wanna know the goals you have for yourself or your children. They then turn you over to a world class group of trainers, Darius, Hannah and Sawyer who’s experience includes working with as the name implies D1 (The Ohio State University, Alabama et al) and professional athletes. Can’t get that at the neighborhood gym! These trainers not only hone skills present in your child, they make the process fun and sustainable. What more could you give your child than a healthy lifestyle? Spent my life around high school, college and professional trainers ( never a professional myself) and these guys stack up with the best. Talk about being in the company of friends my son had me drive to Pittsburgh to bring his childhood friend to train with him at D1 over the summer. More...

D1 is exactly what I have been looking for. An amazing workout (never the same), with a coach to help get the most from every session. They are true professionals who care about each individual. They help me get where I want to go. It’s not a cookie cutter workout. It’a a fantastic community. D1 has the values I fully embrace. I am a huge fan! More...

As an endurance athlete who logs a lot of miles running, D1 has helped me fill the strength gaps in my training. The workouts I’m getting from the classes have made me stronger and less prone to injury. Highly recommend.

My daughter started doing strength training, speed & agility with Darius before she leaves to join the women’s b-ball team at Purdue University in a few months. We love the training he is doing with her, helping her to get ready to compete at the next level More...
