We chose Cuvée for my husband’s birthday. Most of us are vegetarian. We called ahead and asked if they could accommodate us. They were more than willing and wow, they pulled out the stops for us. Our #1 place for fine dining whenever we are in Destin. Our first visit last night & can’t wait to go back Beautifully decorated dining area. Robert was the best server & made us feel very important. Our Palm Bay Ladies group arrived in style in a Limo! Since only one of us had ever been to this restaurant, we didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised with the decor and particularly the good service. Our bartender took care of us quickly and the drinks were superb. We were not rushed to our table like so many restaurants do even when we're clearly having a good time at the bar. After a couple of drinks we were ready to be seated. Our server, who called himself "Mikey" took care of our needs with a great sense of humor. Though the menu was a bit pricey for this area, we were all very impressed with the food we received. It was OK. Sat at bar. Server was great and friendly. Drunk party of loud girls next to us which I feel management should have addressed. Several people left due to the loud and obnoxious behavior. Thank you for the wonderful service. Bobby is excellent and the food was delicious. We have the monthly mom support group for kids who have special needs here -- and this is why! You guys treat us like queens and we appreciate it so much. It's always the 3rd Tuesday of the month and any mom of a child with special needs (autism, diabetes, ADHD, sensory issues, dyslexia, etc.) is welcome to join us! Wow, what a disappointment. Started out great. Lovely, but crowded bar, still great martinis and bustling bartenders to be attentive. Later, crossed the threshold to hell into the dining room. Started with very inattentive service. Our waiter was someone with a such a dry, militant personality to the point of frightning. His name is Jamie which by the way please be cautious if you get him as he will make you anxious at the very least. Food was served and at best fair to poor. To cap it off, bill was delivered and was purposely overcharged on the filet mignon from a regularly priced steak at $39. to an exorbitant $69. special bone-in which we did not ask. From there on when we questioned the bill, it got really ugly. The server, management and for that matter made us all uncomfortable. Even after a long delay and a finally the correct bill was delivered, our lovely jerk waiter hovered over us to the point where we asked him to give us a moment and please leave. My guests and I, if ever seldom leave a poor gratuity but tonight warranted it. We were actually accosted outside the restaurant by the crazy server that we felt threatened by such actions. With all the fantastic restaurants we have dined at down here we would never, ever recommend this nightmare. In over 40 years of dining out this by far was the absolute worst ever.
