Cutting Edge did a fantastic job at our wedding!! My husband and I have always loved the idea of having music videos/live performances with good audio quality playing at our wedding. Cutting Edge helped to make it happen. We were very specific about what we wanted - Ron made an effort to find a video for every song - even old ones from the 50s/60s. We supplied videos for the 1 or 2 he was unable to find. Ted was our DJ on the night of the wedding, and he was great! He followed all of my requests (shorten father/daughter dance, first dance; played songs in a particular order). He was really personable and our dance floor was never empty!! Cutting Edge Entertainment is as good as it gets! I needed to contract a DJ -SIX DAYS- before a corporate meeting that I was planning and had used the yelp “request a quote” for another vendor. It had auto sent this request to several area DJs too, and that’s how I discovered Cutting Edge. They responded within minutes of sending a quote and had availability on the day I needed the services. I did most of my communication with Wes and he was very transparent on their capabilities and pricing. I just needed someone to be our “Voice of God”, play music during breaks and chime in as needed to support our emcee. Even though Cutting Edge doesn’t have as much yelp reviews (yet!), I was sold on their professionalism, not only on the phone but their website. It says a lot when you have a legit website and clips of your work. I’m honestly surprised they don’t have more 5 star reviews!!!Anyways, Cutting Edge, especially our DJ Wes, KILLED IT on all our random requests and needs. This company is very professional, and makes every effort to meet the customers needs. We originally did not plan on having a photo booth, but a two weeks before our wedding CEE pitched the idea and was able to make it happen for us! I highly recommend going with a photo booth! Wes and everyone at Cutting Edge Entertainment that helped make our special day a reality were fantastic! Even though we were out of the USA for much of the planning, Wes took the time to consult with us over Skype and he really made sure that we were able to achieve our vision. He used his extensive experience to make suggestions to us and to work with our schedule and needs. My wife and I wanted to do something fun and different for the introduction of our wedding party. We shared our ideas with Wes and he took it over and made it happen! The song collage he and his team put together for the introduction of the bridal party was superb and it went flawlessly. All of our guests absolutely loved it and we consistently hear that it was one of the best and most memorable events of the evening. As for the rest of the night, Wes was upbeat and fun and was encouraging on the mic with getting the crowd jazzed up to dance and participate. His sense of humour kept the crowd entertained and he took requests from them while also checking in with us to make sure we didn’t have any new song requests ourselves. Throughout the night we had everyone coming up to us telling us how amazing the DJ was. A truly great job that made our day memorable and one of the best nights of our life! We had a wonderful time dancing all evening! Joshua was extremely flexible as events kept changing throughout the night. The only problem was a bit of a delay getting our recessional song to start playing. (However, I did not even notice until he came up to me later and told me about it.) Our DJ took the time to talk to me on the phone ahead of the wedding and make sure he could pronounce all the names. I booked this DJ service a year out from my reception at a bridal convention and got a great deal, especially for the quality of service we got. Wes was great with communication and follow up and was super accommodating with our schedule and requests. Our DJ was Larry, who was AMAZING! We gave him a rough outline of what type of music to play and he rolled with it, keeping the dance floor full the whole time! He seamlessly transitioned from country 2-stepping songs to oldies, to rap and pop. Everyone at our reception, no matter what age, was on the floor at some point! Larry was very warm and friendly when making announcements and even added in a couple at the last minute. Cutting Edge went above and beyond for our wedding. Things went awry two weeks before our wedding with our venue layout (venue approved DJ placement, but revoked approval two weeks beforehand), and Wes was there alongside me trying to help solve this problem. We spent several hours on the phone together problem-solving, and he spoke to me like a friend instead of a client. He kept it realistic yet professional, and I greatly appreciated that. Many vendors wouldn't give you the time of day because they already have your money, but Cutting Edge took care of us and made us feel SO relieved. Tayvn (our DJ) was an absolute rockstar. He has an extremely outgoing personality, contagious energy, and makes it FUN! And he's young and trendy! We had a very large song list to play at our wedding, and nearly EVERYTHING was played. He was engaging, but not the "annoying type" that you see at weddings sometimes. He was the perfect amount of interactive. This team is WONDRFUL. They were my MC, my DJ, and made a monogram light for my dance floor. They made sure I was reminded of all major deadlines and resent forms for me to fill out for any songs I wanted played and the light I wanted made. They were incredibly professional and sweet caring people. Unlike some other companies I had spoken with Cutting Edge also only required a deposit before the wedding and the remaining balance the week of the wedding or the day of. They also have a full team so that if equipment fails or someone calls in sick, there is a back up plan. I loved the reassurance and who they sent. This is a very professional, affordable and courteous company to use for your event. The DJ kept the dance floor hopping and the Photo Booth Attendant was very helpful in explaining the use of the booth. Our daughter's wedding was perfect and I attribute a lot of the flow to our DJ who kept us on track and made any announcements that we needed. His dance playlist was spot on and fun to dance too. Wes was a great DJ for our wedding at the Hotel Contessa. He helped keep the reception on track. We came up with a timeline and schedule of events and he made sure the reception ran smoothly. He is great at reading the crowd and keeping them entertained with his song selection. He did incorporate the songs we had submitted prior to the wedding. We met with Wes and were really impressed by the time he took to work with us and his flexibility on price. We were so close to not having a DJ at all because our budget is very tight - Wes was able to help us get exactly what we needed at a price we could afford. His professionalism and excellent customer service really set Cutting Edge apart from the other DJs we were considering.

The day of our wedding DJ Larry came out early to set up, and played our songlist to a t. He added in other music where it was appropriate, and it all flowed well. At first the crowd was hesitant to dance, but they really got into the mood as the night went on, and by the end of the night the party was going so well, we decided to add a bit more time. Ron was fantastic to work with he was great about our issues with having to move the date.
