I ordered a birthday cake , it wasn’t an ordinary cake. The design was over the top.
It was a tasty cake. The owner was very nice and making sure that the cake will arrive in one piece.

Ok let me just start off by saying if I could give more than 5 stars I would. This lady was beyond amazing. I had a cake made and the driver turned and dropped the cake when he was supposed to be delivering it to me. I did not find out until the same day I needed it for which was 09/08/2019. I called around asking bakers can they do the same cake in such short notice. I was told 100 no's and finally got a yes from this wonderful lady. I showed her the cake and she redesigned it and it made better than what it first was. When I came back to pick it up I cried, that's how beautiful it was. It took me over and hour to get there and when I got there it was 5:30 and she closed at 7. But the best part is, is she did not close at 7. She stayed and did a whole cake for me even after closing on a Sunday with headphones and more on the cake. My family and the birthday boy was beyond happy. My 3 year old son is really into a cartoon the “PJ Masks” and we made it the theme of his birthday party. The cake looked PERFECT and was good! So we have worked with this place 4 times. And twice they have been great and twice they have been ok. Our wedding cake was amazing and perfect.
It had everything that we wanted in a cake. For my son's baby shower we we're going for a beach theme and that was ok. I guess my expectations were kind of high because of how the wedding cake turned out. Then for my son's 1st bday party I wanted cupcakes with something from the Incredibles. They came up with printed edible sheets on top of the icing. And then recently for my son's 4th bday party we asked for a lightning McQueen Cake. While cartoony we didn't have crazy high expectations and my son loved the toy on top of the cake.
Everything that was made for us tasted great. Can't complain about the taste. And price is very reasonable. I just know now that if we something fancy like a wedding cake to definitely come here.

Simply the best!!!!!!!!!!! They are a wonderful couple and they treated us like family. Both my daughters and I loved the cakes we sampled and Mary made the design of the cake just like we wanted. They even catered to my little two year old who wanted every toy in their place. My older daughter is very picky and so very hard to please but even she was in love with the cakes. My cake wont be delivered until April 2016 but I already know it will be spectacular. Can't wait to see it. Thank you both again. I will be back in November to get a cake for the little one who will be turning 3. This review is for the custom cake i ordered for my son's baptism. BTW it used to be called Sweet Treats NY and now called Custom Cakes NYC. I initially called her for an appointment and ask if she'll be able to make me a very specific cake design for my 3 tier cake. When we arrived there, she handed us her 3 best seller flavors for us to sample. It was red Velvet, chocolate, and strawberry. It was so good and moist. The strawberry flavor wasn't just a flavor, she was actually using actual sweet strawberries which was to me a great thing to have in my cake. We had a hard time choosing which one to choose. And then we realized hey, why not just have 3 flavors on our 3 tier cake! We told her the day and time we needed the cake. And as agreed she delivered our cake on time. Our guests took pictures with the cake coz it looks beautiful. Not only that, when it was time for our guests to get their slice everybody said it was delicious! Some even asked for seconds. And as a host that made me happy!I highly recommend Maricor to anyone who wants to order customized cake. I actually just ordered another cake from her! More...
