I was in a scramble for my daughter's 16th birthday ... I quickly thought of Racquel and what she designed for me the past 6 times. She was able to create this beautiful cake for my daughter in 3 days. I ordered my 25th birthday cake from here. I was a little nervous and anxious as I never order a custom cake before. I went to a few places to get a quote. I decided to go with this place as Raquel was a great help in getting us started. We ordered the cake two weeks in advance. We had a tasting a week before to pick out flavors. My cake was a two tier cake to feed 30-35 people. Raquel recommended us to do 9" and 7" but being a newbie and I was scared that we won't have enough cake, we opted for 10" and 7". We should have probably listened to her because we had so much cake leftover. So, that is my lesson. We got vanilla cake with strawberry mousse for the bottom and rich chocolate cake with hazelnut mousse for the top. My only complaint is there wasn't enough filling in the cake. Cake to filling ratio is a bit off. I'm not sure if I was supposed to let her to know to have two-three layers of fillings in each cake. But nonetheless, both tiers of cake was delicious. I was also worried about the cake staying moist as the event was later at night. That was not a concern at all. The cake stayed moist even after a couple of days in the fridge. I'm very happy with my cake and will definitely order again from here for future events! More...

They are very friendly and they get your orders completed in good time! I recently used their services for the very first time after seeing so many lovely reviews. The cake they made for me looked exactly like the pictured I had provided to them. There were a couple issues with some of the detail like the frosting and the filling inside the cake that I had requested. I emailed them and They were very quick to reply and fix the issue for me. So they have exceptional customer service, and I will definitely be using them again. Even though the cake didn't have the frosting I wanted or the fruit, It still looked amazing and taste great!! originally we get our cakes from The Last Crumb of Cakes on snouffer school road. they recently closed because they're moving locations, I didn't know till I went to put in my sisters babyshower cake order and the place was empty. So I googled searched and this place popped up. I walk in the one lady with the glasses that originally took my order was super nice, very helpful with suggestions. So I sent them all my pictures and paid a down payment and set up a cake tasting for my sister. We went the following Sunday and a different lady was there to do our cake tasting and she was there when I went to pick up on the day of the shower, so I believe she is the owner Not sure, but she was also super nice, professional from beginning to end and they did and amazing job, everything came out perfect and they saved the day. this place is a gem if you are looking for any special occasion cake! got a Dino Cake for my sons 5th birthday and could not have been happier with how it turned out. They are reasonably priced and I personally worked with the owners to tell them my vision (also sent them a pic of what I wanted) and it was so great. So I took forever choosing what cake I wanted for my baby's 1st bday. With every question I had, staff was always quick to answer. I finally decided in cup cakes so when I went into the store, I changed my mind and decided to add a smash cake even though it was short notice. They made it work. From the beginning of my wedding cake process to the end, I never really met with the woman behind the cake. At first it was a little worrisome but I soon found out her assistant had everything very organized. I came in for a cake tasting and was presented with so many flavors of icing and cake! We loved a few and ultimately decided on 2 flavors: lemon with lemon curd and chocolate with cream cheese buttercream. I gave them a picture of the design I wanted and she made my dream cake a reality! When I showed up to the reception hall on my wedding day, I was really happy with the way it turned out. So beautiful! From what  I heard from my guests, the cake stayed moist and tasted good. Sadly, I didn't have time for any cake myself. I highly recommend Custom Cake Design.
