My favorite food truck and a weekly resident at the Curbside Bites Food Truck Festival every Wednesday in Downtown SD! Food: My favorite for this place hands-down is the Chicken Gyro Sandwich. The sandwich comes with fries (which makes it more special knowing that other trucks charge $3+ additional for fries). The chicken gyro has some white sauce on it that makes it all the more delicious. Fries are pretty good too. I think my favorite part of this place are their sauces. They have a fire mayo sauce and a honey mustard that is out of this world. Perfect to pair with your sandwich and fries.Service: Workers are always very welcoming and friendly. Currywurst Frankfort is one of that places you find that you have to tell everyone to go to when they are in San Diego.The food and service is absolutely amazing. When we make the 6 hour drive into SD the must do and must have is find the truck and order a Bacon Grilled Cheese sandwich and curry fries. Everything on their menu is amazing but start with the bacon grilled cheese sandwiches and then grab something else delicious later. We found the CWF truck a few years ago and continue to find them where ever they go so we can get our fix.You need Currywurst Frankfort in your life! More...
