We love stopping in for some of the best Indian curries in metro Atlanta. Our favorite curry is the saag paneer, spinach with homemade cheese in a creamy curry sauce. The goat curry is also really good. I love Curry Village - I'll stop by for a quick buffet lunch or often order takeout/delivery for dinner. I love the Saag, vindaloo, tikka masala and korma dishes (I love their paneer preparations but sometimes will change it up) as well as their kebab and paneer appetizers. The only thing I'd watch out for is spice level - mild is consistently mild (great for my wife, but I like more spice). When you try to amp it up it feels love me spending a roulette wheel - *very* unpredictable. I've ordered medium and had my tongue burned in a fiery inferno of deliciousness, or ordered hot and felt like it was a little boring. I think each night, you kinda get the heat level of whoever is cooking that evening.I love the spice, and the actual flavor of each dish is wonderful, so it's our go-to Indian restaurant in the Kennesaw/Woodstock area. This is so far my favorite Indian restaurant in Kennesaw area. They do nice portions for delivery and their food is the perfect spice. Many places take mild to the extreme with no flavor at all, but Curry Village does a perfect mild. The paneer tikka masala is my go to and it's delicious. They lose one star for not giving enough paneer. Compared to the pictures of the chicken option, there is barely any paneer which is the best part! The dal mahkani is my next favorite dish. Lentils and beans in a creamy sauce similar to tikka. Their garlic naan is perfect texture and flavor. The samosas are great and fresh tasting. I need to learn that buffets do not cater to my need for mild food. As a very clear descendant of very pale Europeans, I should know that my only available dish on an Indian buffet is the British created chicken tikka masala. But I dive in anyway.
