Ok. I work here BUT.!!! This is a very honest review. The food is fantastic. The only thing on the menu that I don’t like, is the Chicken Chipilo. The Shrimp and Grits is THE BEST THING ON THE MENU Hands down!! The crab cakes have a thin crust and are fulllll of crab filling rather than being all crust. The cauliflower crust is amazing!! Hmmm. If you like sweeter old fashions, they have a signature pecan old fashion that’ll knock your socks off! And if you’re into Tropical Drinks, The Long Weekend (I believe is what it’s called) is AHHMAAZZIINNNGGG!! Being an employee and seeing the back of the house like I get to, is impressive as hell. The staff all work together as a team and Food FLIES off the Stove and Out the Oven faster than anywhere I’ve ever worked before. I can’t comment on the service obviously. First time eating here was last night. I hope they make it. Even though I thought it was a bit bright for dinner ambience the food was awesome and the portions (appetizers and entrees) are huge. Great bang for the buck. You won’t leave feeling hungry. We had beet hummus and artichoke hummus for apps. Crab cake and shrimp pasta, veal Parmesan, veal Marsala and cauliflower crust pizza for entrees. All were delicious. Want to go back soon. More...

I recommend EVERYTHING about Cucina Cangemi...The food is delicious and the presentation is beautiful...large menu with great choices. ..cocktails are outstanding and a very good choice of wines...scrumptious appetizers and the pizzas are wonderful...very good desserts, too. Love the comfortable seating and the wait staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. Oh..and lots of parking with convenient Handicap area.
