READ THIS BEFORE YOU HIRE THIS PHOTOGRAPHER.
Crystal only really cares about growing her business and what will look good on her website and photo gallery than what you really want for your event/photoshoot and makes you happy as the client.
If you disagree with her and what she wants for your photoshoot, she will find subtle ways to make sure you don't get what you want.
I told Crystal that I wanted balloon boxes and "one/1" signs in my baby's photos, which I purchased myself. She offered to put together the boxes and paint the signs for me, but on the day of the photoshoot, there were more balloons out on her floor than in the boxes and she only filled each of the boxes with only one balloon. When I asked her why they didn't have more balloons like the picture I showed her, she said that "it would look too busy." I looked at the "one" signs and the paint job was terrible. I regretted that I accepted her offer to help.
I went to Crystal's hair stylist, Sarah at Oaktree Hair Salon in Ellicott City. This turned out to be huge mistake as well because my hair cut looked so bad that I decided not to take family photos. I watched another person getting their hair cut and I heard them saying that their hair looked uneven after she cut it. I lost trust in her and any of Crystal's recommendations or judgment.
When the pictures did not turn out well, she blamed it on my baby and not her lack of attention to details. She chose a collared button down shirt for my baby, but she did not pay attention to his collars or stop to straighten them out. At the photo reveal session, it was very difficult to even pick a handful that turned out well. After I got home, I felt so cheated knowing that I wasn't happy with the photos that the next day I asked Crystal to cancel my order.
She made it extremely difficult to schedule a time for the photoshoot when my baby would be the most awake and alert. When my baby became fussy, she then said, "oh, we should have scheduled it at 8:30am." She also commented that my 12 month old baby who is 19.5 lbs and less than 20 percentile for his age is "chubby."
She wants complete control over every aspect of the photoshoot and tries to talk you out of everything that you want. Don't believe everything you read on her website because it's just a marketing strategy to attract potential clients and get you through her door. While she may seem friendly in person and her emails are filled with exclamation points, you have to pay close attention what is really going on and how she is trying to manipulate you. Avoid the hassle.

Crystal was wonderful to work with. She's super detail oriented and her number one goal is to make sure that your vision is carried out. We had our sons Smash Cake photos taken with her and before the day of his photos she met with me to go over what I was looking for, what props I'd bringing, how I'd be dressing him, etc...On top of all of that she even took the time to create a banner to be hung in the background of his photos which was completely unexpected but a wonderful surprise.
