As much as I love my Yuma pizza joint the family was in the mood for something different on the way back this time.I opened Yelp and searched for restaurants and then sorted them by rating and it funneled me here. I couldn't be more pleased!Upon walking in we felt warmly greeted and service was prompt and friendly! All customization requests were handled flawlessly. I tip over 20% when the waitstaff gets "it" right the 1st time.  My server got a nice bonus as everything was bueno!! The food was delicious, kids liked their meals as well. Went there for the first time today. I had the brisket sandwich and fries. The brisket was good and tender, but it did not have a deep smokey flavor that I am use to and prefer. The fries were good. They could have been left in the drier for another 30 seconds or so, but otherwise good and crisp. I had a good BBQ sauce on my sandwich. I didn't know I could specify which sauce I wanted. Wow! Food is delicious and might seem a little spendy until they bring it out. The portions are huge, most enough for two. You can't miss here. The first time I went to Crouse's I was not very impressed. It was a little underwhelming but after a year or so we went back and oh my goodness! I'm in love! This burger (I don't remember the name) had brisket, onion straws, and BBQ sauce on it. It was too die for!!! I had the regular fries which were wonderful but my husband had the sweet potato fries. Enjoyed this local restaurant quite a bit. At first glance it looks like a bar, but after your first bite you see much more than that. This place a meat heavy, vegetarian beware! The burger sound heavy and you'll probably need a nap after having these beef bacon concoction. Personally, I loved the Tri-tip salad with blue cheese dressing and jalepeños on top. I had to try the BBQ because it seemed to be the restaurant's fortei; the ribs were alright. The meat definitely fell off the bone and was sufficiently spiced with salt and pepper.
