I'm currently in the area visiting and was looking to find a place to get in some workouts. Luckily, I stopped in at Crossfit HSC. The box is a very good size and with ample space and equipment. I was lucky to meet Coach Jeff and take class with him. He was awesome... gave good tips, kept an eye on everyone to make sure they were moving properly, and pushed us through the WOD. Also, the members were super warm and welcoming. I couldn't recommend this place any more. Stop in! More...

Visited HSC a month ago to get some work in with teammates for an upcoming comp. Immediately felt a welcoming, family vibe. I was introduced to Jeff, who is one of the owners. Super nice guy. Chill. Was getting a workout in along side everyone else during an open gym session. Currently the location is a little small if there's more than 10 ppl wanting to workout, however, in the next couple months they will be moving into a muuuuch bigger location that is being built right nextdoor. They offer plenty of variation in equipment, and there are plenty of highly driven individuals to help inspire newcomers to join and become part of a healthy community. Good work HSC. CrossFit Hsc has been part of my life for a year now, and couldn't be happier with this place. I fall short of calling it a gym, it's more than that, it's a community that transforms lives. ..I know that's cheesy, but it's true. Jeff and Eric are fantastic coaches. They help members with nutrition, coaching members on the movements in class and making sure everyone is able to participate and get the best workout in for that person. They reinvest into the gym, adding or upgrading equipment on a regular basis, keep the gym clean and orderly, offer additional classes such as yoga, endurance classes or nutritional seminars. Hastings is lucky to have this and wish they had something like this when I was in high school. Came in town from Texas for a 3 day work meeting and jumped right in to HSC. Jeff was great ensuring proper form and props to members Sue and Mike for pushing me through to the end. Appreciate the hospitality and amazing facilities/community.
