I tried a free session today, and I loved it. It took me a whopping 33min to finish my WOD.. most people were done with their workouts (I sucked pretty bad). I still had a couple of rounds to go, everyone stayed and cheered me on. Even joined me on my last round of WOD. I was blown away by the support and encouragement I got. The member who showed me the ropes on my first workout today was awesome, kept pushing me. The coach showed me some alternate moves coz some where complicated, and did not have the flexibility to execute those.. After the session was over there was no pressure to join, no sales pitch .. just an invitation to come back the next day and workout. The facility looks pretty organized, it's a gym (they call it a box) not a studio.. and I kinda like that. The barbell movements are pretty advanced, workout is tough, but I got a real feeling of accomplishment after I was done. I am going to join and give it a try. More...

I've been with CFCP for 9 years, I've gone from doing push ups on the wall to winning powerlifting titles. Coaches and community are the best!

I love CrossFit Cedar Park! They have group classes but they give personalized attention to everyone. All levels are welcome and we all work at our own level. The other thing I love is that we all support and encourage one another. It is like CHEERS.? More...

One of my friends alerted me of this. I can't honestly tell you how or when this post occurred. I have never been to this location and I am simply confused. Sorry about this, not sure how to take it down so i figured I write this comment. Oh and I changed the stars to 5 just to make up for whatever happened. More...

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. My coach Stacey is awesome. I like the approach that she took with me and found a program that would work best for me. (Nu-u) My tryout session was tough and no of them get easier. When I met with Stacey she told me to come and try it out because Crossfit is not for everyone. I am 5'6" starting weight 340lbs. I have lost about 52lbs over the last 7 weeks. Stacey constantly informs me about nutrition which is even more important than just working out. When she told me it was not for everyone that was code for " If you are not 100% committed to lifestyle change this may not work." Everyone is friendly and encouraging and I do not feel like I am being judged when I come in there. The facility is super clean and equipment is in good order. These people know what they are doing and I trust their advice completely. If you really want to challenge yourself or get into shape these are the people to talk to. More...

I have worked out in lots of places, been to many gyms, and participated in many types of physical activity. I became interested in CrossFit while going to a martial arts school. Noticing that CFCP was the closest to my house, I decided to try it. I immediately loved it. Sure, you get to work out, push yourself, and do things you never thought possible. Sure, you get coaching on your diet as well as skill sessions one on one with coaches. You really get the whole experience of having people genuinely interested in your health. The best thing that you get out of CFCP is the feeling of community of like minded people that are enthusiastic and all pulling for you! I have never seen people be so invested in each other's fitness/health before. Sure, it's easy to interpret as being "pushed" to work hard, but that's only if you are a weak minded individual that does not understand when people are trying to help you. There have been times when I have been injured, sore, strained, and the coaches are ALWAYS driving home the fact that we are the CEO's of our own bodies and only WE can decide how hard to push. Some days they just send me over to the physical therapy side and tell me stretch out. No one is pushed past where they want to be pushed. The challenges are amazing. If you ever want to see people reach fantastic goals, come and check it out. More...
