Being a local here I don't find ourselves coming back. We tried this spot because of the reviews it has and I believe this spot was only really rated towards the bar/games. We weren't here for the games but for the food and I was quite disappointed. I haven't had a meal this bad in a very long time. We ordered the phili cheese steak sandwich, sliders, kids chicken tenders, and a bowl of clam chowder. The cheesesteak's bread tastes like old bread that's been barely toasted and slider's bun tasted old/stale. I had to force myself to eat the meal because I didn't want to waste food. Unfortunately one of the most disappointing meals I've had in a long time. This review is strictly on the dining experience, not in the pub area. Sat down with my party of 3, and the place was relatively full both in the dining room and bar area. Lots of hustle and bustle as the servers and who I believe to be was the owner were running around. Between the 3 of us we ordered a kids chicken tenders, Philly cheesesteak, cup of clam chowder, and Buffalo chicken sliders. All of what we ordered minus the clam chowder was tasteless and to be quite honest just a little sad .. the bread on the Philly cheesesteak was stale, barely toasted. Onions and bell peppers were undercooked, hence, hard. The Buffalo chicken sliders were meh and I barely tasted any Buffalo sauce. The food was tasteless and greasy and to be honest we felt really sick after so we just wanted to get the heck out of there. It is very rare that I write a review immediately after eating at a restaurant but honestly we feel an overwhelming feeling of dissatisfaction I feel just overall .. bad......... the clam chowder saved the meal since it tasted the best and because of that I'm curious if it's made in-house. Maybe we'll have to come back for happy hour or some drinks or maybe even brunch but the food we just had was just... not good. Total cost of the meal was like 60 bucks including tip, and we tipped well, bc it's not their fault the food isn't up to par. Poor customer service. Called around 8:10pm to order to go, server answered the phone and told me to hold on, I waited on the phone for almost 10min while I could hear her and another man talking in the background. It was clear she had just set the phone down waiting for me to hang up instead of taking the order. I called from a separate phone while I was on the phone waiting thinking maybe she had forgot but they never picked up. Wings are great, like world class. But under no circumstances order anything else and definitely not the ribs. Oh Christ, those are like eating bad breath if you could somehow boil halitosis in rib form. Just awful.

We came here for breakfast and sat outdoors in the back. It was a lovely setting and very peaceful. The service was great and the food was amazing! Everything was made from scratch. First and definitely last time we come here! Waitress had no clue where to put us and place was 1/4 full. Took 10 minutes for menus, food was good but took 20 after getting ticket, finally went to bar to pay and she said find your waitress, I said good luck with that, and she cussed me from the far end of the bar till manager finally stepped in

We knew before arriving that this was a low-key casual place, so it gets four stars for hitting that mark. Nice outside seating area surrounded by large trees. Came in with a group of people and we were told to sit at different tables once a bigger table opened up we would move a ,bigger party came in after us and they tried to give them our bigger table really unprofessional need to step it up especially in a tourist town waiters were cool can't complain about that but in the end they chose to give the table to the other people even tho we were there first

Wow this place has improved so much! Both in the menu items, quality of food, ambiance and service. Still has the bar and slots which keeps the old Crosbys vibe going. I have eaten here as well as ordered food for pick up.They always answer the phone promptly and food is ready in 5-10 minutes.I had the crab cake Benedict as well as chicken and waffles shared with fiancé when we dined in. Great Bloody Mary too if you like it spicy and strong!For pick up orders I have had the Rueben and Gyro both were pretty decent and were ready for pick up when I arrived as well as promptly greeted by bartender for payment. I had to get my video poker fix at my favorite bar in Incline Village. This time I ordered their patty melt with a salad on the side and it was probably the best patty melt I have had. It was cooked rare (just like I like it) and on marble rye bread. The salad that they served was nice fresh baby greens. I also ordered their chicken wings - they don't sell them by the piece any longer so I justtook the leftovers home and enjoyed later. I've been to Crosby's a few times now but this past experience was not my favorite. The menu is big, it's a great place to watching sporting events, the food is good, and they even have an outdoor patio that's dog friendly. But the staff member who ended up being our server made the whole experience uncomfortable and we all felt very unwelcome. His energy was off from the second we walked in the door and acted as though taking our order was a total inconvenience. I get that Tahoe has a "locals only vibe" but don't assume we're tourists just because you haven't seen my family (who live a block down the road) before. Even if we were tourists, I just don't feel like it's right to act rude towards people who are paying to go to your business. When taking our orders, after each person would order, some kind of uncomfortable comment came from him, or he was having us repeat ourselves as if he wasn't even listening. One example- my boyfriend ordered the Crosby burger and asked for the egg to come fried. The man didn't even bother to look up at him and in a stern, annoyed tone said "how do you want your egg cooked??" as if my boyfriend was ignoring him the first time he asked. We all looked at each other in confusion because we legitimately thought he was joking. Another example- my 66yo dad who doesn't have perfect hearing asked the server a few questions that he couldn't hear his response to, and when he asked to him to repeat himself, this man couldn't even pretend to not be annoyed and would respond to my dad in the most condescending way. A couple of basic egg breakfasts got our Sunday off to a good start at Crosby's. Nothing fancy. We were just in the mood a diner-style breakfast. Decent coffee, stronger than I expected. My husband and I come up to Incline at least once a year and we always go to Crosby's for lunch or dinner at least twice while we're in town. The food is great (we like to sit in the bar area), the waitresses are always friendly and knowledgeable. My favorites are the reuben sandwich, the patty melt and the beer batter onion rings!
