Crissy saved my hair from an absolutely horrible color job done elsewhere. At my other place, I asked for darker for fall with caramel highlights. ..and got what looked like a flat, zero dimension boxed black color (with red highlights?!). I was devastated and in tears when I found Head Case online after lots of research. I called and they got me in in less than a week with Crissy, who I was SO impressed with. But let me back up: I chatted with the owner on the phone and she was so understandable, sympathetic, and knew exactly what needed to be done. I got in today and I was immediately told to sit and relax and was offered a drink from their drink menu. The salon was clean, orderly and had music and movies playing. They use organic, all-natural products and therefore, the place doesn't smell like ammonia hair dye. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Crissy was amazing! She and I chatted for a while about what I wanted before, what I didn't get, and what my goal was. She was honest in telling me her opinion and what could be done, and then we got started. She is SO knowledgeable about hair and has experience and just GETS it. Plus, she is fun to chat with and I loved laughing and talking with her. I absolutely love my hair now after wearing a hat for a week because it was so dark; I called myself "Morticia." But now? I adore my hair! I can't wait to go see Crissy again! She is the best! Came to get my hair braided in double Dutch braids. Crissy did an amazing job. My braids stayed in all day and night. Price was a lil high then expected but she did what I asked so guess it balanced itself out. Will go back.

I went for a deep conditioning treatment and wow! My hair has never felt softer and healthier. I have in the past bleached it and box dyed it black. Being new to Texas I was nervous about trying to find someone new to do my hair. I had always gone to Fantastic Sams so I went there and the girl messed up my hair something AWEFUL! I went to another salon a few days ago and they really did a number on my hair (see before photos) so I scheduled an appt with Brandy today to fix what the other salon screwed up and she DID NOT disappoint! What could have been a disappointment turned into a delight. After waiting 25 minutes for my colorist to show up, I finally got up to leave. (I'm patient, but there's a limit.) MYRNA jumped in and volunteered to do my color, another washed me out, and RISSA happily agreed to do the style. I cannot say enough great things about this amazing studio. I read MANY reviews before deciding to try a new salon after many hair fails. This salon had 100% positive reviews and I can validate why. Every person I came into contact with was lovely and kind. The scheduling was quick and accommodating. The salon was super clean and beautiful- tastefully designed, great vibe! Brandy was a true hair expert. She listened to what I wanted to achieve with my hair, accommodated my budget, educated me on what hair color I wanted and how we would achieve my desired color. She was very professional and took pride in her work. She gave me the best hair color/highlights I've had, and I've had manyyyy! The color is even, No matter where i part my hair, the color tone is perfect, not dull, yellow, brassy or chunky. Absolutely perfect. Prices were extremely reasonable, worth every penny! Parking: Plenty of parking. My appointment was at 9 AM, and I was able to park right in front, but there was still plenty of parking available that doesn't require a long walk. No steps to enter the building other than a small step up on the sidewalk from parking. Arriving: I was greeted and checked in for my appointment in a friendly and welcoming manner. I was asked to have a seat on one of the white bench style seats at the front. The stylist was respectful of my time and started my appointment on time. I was offered something to drink when I first arrived, but I did not want anything at that time. I was not approached again for a beverage option.Appointment: The seating is comfortable and didn't leave me feeling like I was being stuffed into a small swivel chair that isn't sturdy like some salons use for clients. As a matter of fact, that seating is one of the reasons I chose this salon in the first place. I was in to get a half up-half down style and full makeup. My stylist was Sheyanne.Styling/Makeup: Sheyanne was incredibly attentive and talented. I enjoyed her positive attitude and genuinely friendly way of connecting with me on similar interests when chatting. I gave her the freedom to do what she does best, and she did not disappoint me! My skin is dry, and I normally stay away from makeup because it can look cakey, but she explained how to solve that problem. I even purchased a few products for home use, but she was in no way "salesy" with me.Overall: They have a referral program and a loyalty program, which was explained to me as I was paying.
