Crissel is an amazing hair stylist and is very good at communicating throughout your cut to make sure you're getting the style you want. She is also very receptive to helping you try new styles. I have lived in Sunset Park since 2007 and have had lots of trouble finding a good salon, going as far as Bay Ridge only to be really disappointed again and again. Before I left for a 2-year stint in the Peace Corps in 2016 I was so desperate and just cut my own hair! But this time I found Crissel! She told me she had been there all the time, but it wasn't in her own salon, so now I could find her on Yelp. A great haircut, good conversation, she creates a nice environment in her salon. I only hope that I won't get crowded out by the new gentrifiers from around Industry City where she is located, I'm so glad to have at last found a hair salon I can trust and go to when I need it. By far the friendliest hairstylist in all of Brooklyn! Crissel has done an amazing job and actually gives her opinion and suggestions, you have to trust her to see great results.
