It’s hard to believe that we are coming up on one year (in August) that we became a part of the CaPAA family! I will never forget that very first day of dropping my son off at Summer camp and how nervous he and I both were! !! Fast forward 7 hours to picking him up that first day and seeing him the happiest kid I had ever seen! Since then, two of my three kids have been a part of several shows and we couldn’t be happier!!! Watching them grow and become more confident is truly amazing to see! We are SO happy to celebrate and embrace the arts! CaPAA has given us so much, and we are forever grateful to all of the staff for believing in not only our kids, but all of the kids! We look forward to many more years at CaPAA...making memories and having fun!!!!! More...

Nice, well preserved piece from the past. This old theater still has good bones, and it's able to still accommodate for the shows of today. Not too big and overpowering...just the right size to get a good feel for the theater. Had a great time when I visited. More...

What a perfect gem in the heart of downtown scranton. Theater and music lovers rejoice!!

Wonderful program run by wonderful people ! My daughter has had the opportunity to learn, grow & become A lover of all things musical theatre. So very thankful my daughter had the opportunity to be apart of CaPAA's summer camp program. The alarm NEVER woke her during the school year, but for the time she attended CaPPA, I never once had to wake her! ! She kept saying "Mom everyone's sooooo nice there!!" She immediately made friends, loved the teachers, loved every single minute of the two week program!!! So far so good. We've only had one class but my girls (who were VERY apprehensive about going) came out EXTREMELY excited and completely comfortable. The entire staff was extremely kind and welcoming. I stayed for the beginning of the class and they were really great with the kids. I also read about fundraisers they hold so that children who can't afford it can also attend. I think that is really great as this seems like an amazing program that could really benefit our children in a lot of ways. They can excel in the performing arts but also with social skills, public speaking, group effort, performance anxiety & I'm sure even more. Our city has so many art programs and features. It's really great that their is something so awesome & exciting for our "younger" artists and performers. More...

My daughter has been attending CaPAA programs for almost 3 years now. This will be her third summer going to camp. She also takes voice lessons with Miss Kimberly Johnson and dance with Miss Tina. We cannot say enough great things about the teachers and leadership within the program.
