"I've always been health-minded, and I'd prided myself on my discipline to workout for years. When Covid hit, I found myself falling deeper and deeper into apathy in regards to my health, and I couldn't seem to find that motivation any more. When I heard that Alicia certified to be a personal trainer, I immediately reached out to her, asking her to work with me. Really, I was just expecting to have someone help me with motivation, and to check in on my progress; however, I learned that the greatest benefit of having a personal trainer is that they can see and critique every tiny movement, things that I had never noticed before. Alicia kindly points out small changes in my form that bring significant results. She carefully plans workouts based on my body's specific needs, and then pushes me to push myself through them. We focus on Non-scale victories. This helps us get down the the "why". Why do you want to lose weight? Why do you want to get fit? Why now? What do you really want to accomplish?

For most of us, we want to lose weight so we feel better... but we feel better by gaining muscle to decrease pain, change our body composition, and improve our self confidence because our bodies are strong enough to do what we ask of them.

Consistency and balance. You don't have to exercise every day for an hour or more (in fact I highly discourage that). You do need to listen to your body. Push yourself when you can, and rest when you need to. Find balance between work and rest because your rest days really are just as important as work days.

We start with small and simple habits so that you can find balance and consistency. If you want the body of your dreams you need to make lasting lifestyle changes that are sustainable.

Connection! I love to connect with women who want to connect to their bodies.

Our bodies are absolutely amazing, and there is so much we have to learn about them and how to make them work for us!

My absolute favorite is when I can help women make connections and see that "aha moment" when they finally get it and their eyes light up with understanding!

We can make small form corrections, and there are lots of different sayings to get you to love and appreciate all the things your body can do for you.

I struggled with appreciating my body after having kids. I dove into fitness and created some unhealthy habits around nutrition and exercise. I worked really hard to create happy and healthy habits, and love my body. I know so may other women who have struggled like I did and I want to help them avoid the mistakes I did and jump straight into loving their body, while still making necessary changes to be happy and healthy.

I'm positive, engaging, and I know how to build you a program that will help you reach your goals quickly, without injury, and without completely overthrowing your life.

I do not provide any exercise programs online. All personal training and group fitness classes are done in home or on site.

I do provide nutrition coaching either through zoom or via phone.
