On New Year’s we had a small party of less than 30 people reserve the private room upstairs. We even brought in a DJ the owner agreed to pay since the open area upstairs would be open to the public. First, I was disappointed with the limited menu because I’ve heard such good things about their food. But most of all Bernie, the owner, came up to our group around 11pm to say that they were slow downstairs and he was announcing last call. ON NEW YEAR’S EVE!! The least he could’ve done was had one bartender and one server stick around so we could at least finish out the evening’s celebration. What a total disappointment. If this is the way, he treats his customers I do not care to return and give him my business. More...

Love that this restaurant has finally opened in downtown Aurora. I live walking distance and it’s a great addition to our downtown. Old Fashioned is AMAZING. I’ve been twice this week to try different things, the cheese curds are great (and I’m not generally a big fan of curds).
