I took a couple of Wordpress courses run by Donnie Seigler through the Denver Free University. Really good introduction from a highly knowledgeable individual. Wordpress is a deep piece of software that is easy to use if you don't understand ( or don't need to understand ) how it works, but the more you do know, the better the end result. Donnie knows it very well. Best part, from my point of view, having someone who could answer questions that were not well explained in books, and articles just seemed to gloss over. Well recommended.
