I cant say enough great things about CR Paving! For me It was a big decision to pave my backyard and install a new grass. But CR Paving did the work and the results are Amazing, I still Cant believe how gorgeous my backyard looks . I have to say that meeting Carlos who is the owner was a great experience, He helped me a lot when deciding what to do in my backyard and I must say that listening to his opinion was my best decision because at first I was not sure with my ideas and Carlos helped me a lot. Right from the beginning, it was a pleasure to work with Carlos and his crew. Carlos always answered his phone when I called him and stopped by to look at the job when he said he would.  After taking some measurements, he provided a detailed quote on the spot.  His pricing was very competitive, and we hired him for the job.  Carlos and his team have a great work ethic.  Every day, they arrived no later than 8:30 am and worked until at least 5 pm.  They started Thursday, Sept. 20th, and finished Tuesday, Sept. 25th.  It took them only 5 days to do a job that included installing a 224 sq ft paver patio, a 366 sq ft lawn, and two 6' long flagstone pathways.Not only are they hardworking and efficient, their workmanship is top-notch. Our new paver patio is absolutely beautiful and completely transforms our backyard making it open and inviting.  The new patio is actually an extension of a side yard paver patio that my husband installed seven years ago.  We were worried that the boundary between the old patio and the new one would be quite conspicuous.  However, instead of starting the new patio exactly where the old patio ended, Carlos took up 20 sq ft of the old paver patio and distributed those old pavers among the new ones creating a gradual transition from old to new.  To provide space for a tree, we specified a curved cutout in one of the corners of the new patio.  They cut each border paver on that curved section in a trapezoidal shape to minimize gaps between the pavers and make it more aesthetically pleasing.  They could have skipped this step to save time, but they didn't.  They did it the right way.After they rototilled and raked the soil in the front yard, we decided that the lawn area needed more dirt to create a mound shape in the middle.  Carlos picked up a yard of dirt and saved us a delivery fee.  His crew then shaped the area beautifully with a higher area in the middle gradually sloping down to the edges.  Carlos and his team also did a great job cleaning up the site after they finished the project.  They hauled everything away, swept all the areas, and hosed down the driveway.  I wish that all our home improvement projects could go as smoothly as this one.  I have no doubt we'll be working with Carlos and his crew again. Super paver and landscaping job! Great price! Timely.Carlos was recommended to me by Los Altos Garden Supply.Carlos is so very hard working. He was here daily at 8am and left at 6pm and other than a lunch break he was working. He always had a smile and took any suggestions completely to heart---just a perfectionist!We had quotes from 4 paver companies and Carlos came in with the best price and had great recos. We also had him work on our retaining wall and garden project and everything came out exactly as we had hoped.Highly recommend him! More...
