This place is pretty good! Parking is kind of difficult if you don't know the area -- you've got to use your wits to get behind the building, but there's a back entrance right from the giant shared lot in back. If you don't like waiting for a table, don't come while there's a game on. We went while there was a Sabres game on (GO SABRES!) and there wasn't a table to be found. We got on the list (wait was about half an hour) and went to try and grab drinks at the bar. For drinks, I'd say go for the blackberry margarita or a fresh muddled-mint mojito. Every mixed drink I've had here is very good.The bartender was really nice, but it took a LONG time to get her attention. It's a free-for-all for tables in the bar section, but definitely worth it to wait for a table in the front restaurant section.I had the bang bang shrimp street tacos. They were SO GOOD. So filling that I didn't even need the sides (not normal for street tacos). I ended up not even touching the beans and rice sides, but I took them home to fry up with eggs for breakfast the next day (yum!).Next time though, I'll ask them to just hold the sides -- my stomach isn't that big, and I HATE styrofoam takeout containers. If you're so inclined, ask that they do away with the styrofoam -- the more people that ask, the better the chance they'll opt for something better for the planet in the future. :) More...

Splendid Mexican place in Hamburg, went with the gf and her friend. ordered the taco Tuesday deal which was great, the tacos I believe had chorizo in them and for $1 a taco or whatever they were they were gooood! ! Got this on the side of a steak quesadilla which was amazing, packed it as well, and some guacamole for all of us to split which was very tasty. I very easily forget about this place, and think it is so underrated. I've been there a few times with family and friends, and their food is always super fresh and well-made. Make sure you have an appetite when you order the burrito, because you won't find one bigger anywhere else! Same with the Chavez Nachos, they are topped with this amazing sauce and pickled jalapeños and onions, which is super fresh and flavorful. A girlfriend and I made the mistake of splitting those AND the Fiesta Rolls - the mistake being solely due to the fact that we should have had about 6 more stomachs if we wanted to finish it all! We were recommended the vegetable rolls, and they were absolutely worth it even though we were so full. My friend said he margarita on the rocks was amazing as well. Got seated in the back by the bar and that was not a good idea...had to wait at least 15 minutes before a waitress came over to us. ..food was good but I felt like every time I needed something from the waitress like more water or napkins she was nowhere to be found...food was absolutely delicious but my margarita was weak on the liquor side More...

Me and my wife went after the fair on Thursday the 15 to get something to eat and when we walked in our server, Cathleen, sat us down at our table promptly and took our drink order and upon serving our drinks she helped us with our order by recommending some items off the menu. We've never had such great service like this anywhere else and we eat out quite often. The food that she recommended was by far the best Mexican food that i have had around the Buffalo area and there was so much on our plates that we left full. We almost couldn't finish our food there was so much. Our server, Cathleen, made sure our drinks were full and that we were satisfied with our food and let me tell you we'll definitely be back again. The prices are reasonable too. This was our first visit there and if the other servers are as great as Cathleen we'll definitely have many more enjoyable meals there again. We'd like to try some other items on the menu. Also we're told that they have music on certain nig ithts also. We'd like to check that out also. I've been to Coyote Cafe 3 times now and have enjoyed it each time. I've tried the lobster chimichanga, bang bang shrimp tacos, and chicken quesadillas. All three were amazing! Their margaritas are also super delicious. They have a little outside patio in the front as well as a bigger outdoor patio in the back. Service is great and pretty fast.I took off a star because the salsa is a little too tomatoey tasting for me and I think it could use some help. I put hot sauce in it the last time I was there and this helped to spice it up a bit. As for sides, the spanish rice and mexican spaghetti are also a little on the dry side.But overall, if you're looking for good tacos and margs and to sit outside on a cute patio, this is your place! Although I’m reviewing that I recommend coyote cafe it’s been disappointing lately with the unsatisfactory service. I went once with a friend and we didn’t have the greatest service but I decided to go again this past week and once again not the greatest service however the food was delicious. I did mention to the host that came over to take my plate that I wasn’t too happy with the service especially since I wasn’t even asked if I wanted a refill on my water and it was brushed off because they were busy and training. Private party was hosted off the food truck. It was a lovely day on the back patio and the food was fantastic. Quickly served, the protein (beef, pork, chicken) was tender and flavorful. i was there saturday the 11th for my very first time i was attending a benefit absolute amazing experience all around best mexican food ive had in a very long time the street tacos were delicious i had some drinks at the back patio bar your bartenders really know their stuff drinks were fantastic your staff all around was on point awesome which is very hard to find i will deffinetly be coming back you havent seen the last of me

This was probably some of the best Mexican food I've had in a long while. For our apps we had the nachos and BBQ chicken quesadillas. Both phenomenal but if I had to pick one the quesadillas we're on point. For our main meals we had the chicken enchiladas topped with queso blanco, chorizo enchiladas topped with enchilada red sauce, and juan chorizo burrito. Our sides were the Mexican potatoes and Spanish rice. The portions were generous and fairly priced. The queso was probably the best I've ever had and so was the chorizo and chicken.
