How long have you been interested in magic?
Magic began as a childhood hobby. I performed at private parties as a teenager. After graduating Northwestern University with a degree in Mathematics Education, I taught Algebra at the Middle School level at a private school on Chicago's North Shore.
In my mid-20s, I became a full-time professional, touring the Midwest and East Coast with an curriculum-based program for elementary schools. In my 30s, I started performing at Corporate Events and exclusive adult private parties. Now I incorporate marketing messages into my magic when I perform at sales meetings, trade shows and annual awards dinners.

When you book Danny Orleans, you are hiring a professional with over 30 years of experience performing at private and corporate events. Expect good communication before the event, a detailed proposal, an early arrival, a properly attired performer who is ready to go, but flexible as the needs of your event might indicate.
My performance is filled with magic and comedy. Your guests will laugh out loud, be surprised and amazed as I perform magic with organic objects including their cell phone, dollar bills, a borrowed wristwatch, playing cards and gold bricks.
My clients tell me that their biggest surprise is that event guests bring the memories of the show back to their workplace... they talk about the fun they had for many months to come.
What do you love most about your job?
Performing magic has given me an opportunity to meet people from a multitude of industries. What I love most is meeting a person who has seen me perform 10 or even 20 years after the show... and they still remember--in detail--the fun they had that day.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started performing magic as teenager, so continuing it as an adult was a natural progression. My inspiration was my own success experienced earlier in life.

No. I am no longer providing remote magic shows for my clients. I have found that they don't have the same impact as my live performances.
