Food is decent. Nothing special but never bad. Service is good. However it had possibly the worst acoustics of any restaurant so very noisy and hard to carryon a conversation.

The place has a nice ambiance and the service is fairly good. The quality of food lacks consistency. I had the fish and chips on the last two visits within the past few weeks. The first time the preparation was good. Fresh tasting fish with light crispy batter. Ordered again on the second visit and recommended to others in my party. Ordered the Fillet Mignon, medium rare and it came out perfect! Melts in your mouth also ordered the chocolate Lava Soufflé, it was amazing! Ate it too fast forgot to take a pic Mostly older people dine here, it is in a retirement subdivision so no surprise why! Ate here again last trip up to visit Mom. Still clean and beautiful! Indoors has lots of wood and huge windows that let in the light and views of the oak trees, spacious patio. ... Food consistent and very good! I especially like the fish and chips, or one of their large salads. I think the Price point is very fair for the location, ambiance, and quality of the food. It's a bonus to have this within Rossmoor, and not have to worry about driving and parking elsewhere. More...

Located inside Rossmoor , this is a lovely restaurant with many options, generous portions and tasty dishes. Pleased to see they can accommodate dietary needs. Waitstaff is friendly and helpful.

Located in Rossmoor, there is a country club like vibe here and a peacefulness. A close friend lives in this community and had the privilege of enjoying a great lunch here on the most perfect mid Autumn day. The food here is standard American lunch fare. I had an avocado burger and it was juicy and solved my hunger problem.The outdoor area is very comfy and the service is friendly and reliable. The food is very good, but that's not my complaint. This Restuarant when calculating the tip, counts in the sales tax as part of the total bill, which is illegal, especially when the tip is mandatory like for large parties or on holiday events such as Mother's Day. If you are going to calculate a 20% tip on a bill of $200, the mandatory tip should then be $40, but this restaurant adds in the sales tax first which is 10.7%, which is an extra $21.40 and then you pay the mandatory 20% of that total so you wind up paying $44.28 versus $40. Its not the money but the point because if you are going to enforce mandatory tipping percentage, you have to use the subtotal amount and not the sales tax component, that is both unethical and illegal. Since Rossmoor is mostly for seniors, I'm sure the seniors could use this money versus the operator who came up with this scheme. I wonder what the franchise tax board would say. More...
