Corky's Dawg House

Corkys has been a highlight of our trip to Brevard. The food was excellent- especially the pretzels. We also have been everywhere looking for the white squirrels. They have feeders out back for them and the owner is so friendly and will tell you about all the wildlife that hangs out around his restaurant. He invited us to come back the next morning before they opened to see the squirrels during their peak activity time. He went above and beyond to give us a great experience. So I’ll preface this by saying everything tasted great, and the people were great but the prices are crazy. My husband ordered a fried bologna sandwich and for what we paid he was thinking he was getting a thick chunky piece of bologna, when he got his sandwich we thought it was a BLT the bologna was so insanely thin, that was a huge disappointment, especially for a $9 sandwich. We spent $75 and split our fries and tots with our kids, but $75 for 2 adults and 2 kids to eat diner food is a bit crazy. Love it here!! We had a surprise birthday party for our 13 yr old here and it was so perfect. The idea came together in just a few days and all the staff were so accommodating and went way out of their way to make it memorable! It was our first time here and OMG everyone's meal was amazing!! I had the Featured Burger that had Pimento Cheese, A giant Onion Ring, and the best Bacon! Perfect bun to juicy burger ratio! 🙂 The staff and management were so helpful, and really made this birthday one to remember! Thanks to all! just tried corkys and paid 22.26 for 2 Carolina dogs and a order of half fries and half onion rings way over priced (should have listed to what people said in there reviews) the hot dog was good but nothing great the fries a thin shoe string fry was ok the frozen onion rings were not that good at all there are a couple of places in town to get very good hot dogs and fresh hand breaded onion rings for a fraction of this price yes there are people that dont care about price and then there is the regular Joe's that cant and wont pay 22. 26 for hot dogs and sides I want all small businesses to have great success but I more then likely wont be back with those prices this is my taste and my opinion only I hope you succeed More...

Today was our 1st time at Corky's and we loved the entire experience. The food was wonderful....served tableside once you ordered at the counter. They are so patient while you place the order, adding and subtracting as we went along. Not only was the food good and plentiful, the staff kept checking on us. We long overstayed our visit and they welcomed us to stay longer.
Highly recommend.

My review of Corky's

My husband, myself and our 11 year old son de died to try Corky's for lunch today after picking out pumpkins.

The enter/exit only signs are not easy to see until last second, so we passed it and had to turn around and try again.

The interior is nice. They did a great job with it.

We went up to order and there are screens up but I just just couldn't read the fine print about what each item was on the menu. I do not wear glasses, but it makes me wonder if I may need to soon. Haha Luckily they had printed menus for us to look at which was very helpful.

The menu is set up a la cart style, so be prepared to order a burger or dawg but then pay $7+ for a side like fries, tater tots or onion rings.

Our son ordered the kids chicken tenders which was $6 for 3 tenders. Nothing else came with it, which makes it quite pricey for just tenders alone in my opinion. But my son liked them.

Our order consisted of the following:

🥤 2 small drinks
🍺 1 bottle of beer
🍔 1 Corky's burger
🐖 1/2 rack ribs
🐔 Kids (3) tenders
🧅 1 side order of 1/2 fries 1/2 onion rings
🍟 1 side order of 1/2 fries 1/2 tater tots

Order total before tip: $58

The food was good, the service was good and the ladies were friendly. However with the overall price of the food it is likely going to be a rare occurrence for us as we usually have all 3 of our kids with us and that would bring us to $100 easy after tip.

More often than not, I'll get a salad. Then looking at my hubby's fries and burger, I'll have wished I'd gotten fries, too. (So does he, for that matter because I snatch his!)

With Corky's salad, you get both! When I saw a salad with fries, I thought I'd hit the proverbial jackpot! The fries are the skinny, tasty ones and add so much to an already fresh, crispy bed of veggies and greens! Add a tangy dressing, and YOWZERS!
