Ordered a 2 tier cake for my niece one year birthday. The cake was decorated beautiful exceeded my expectations. The bottom tier was vanilla and the the top champagne with raspberry filling, vanilla was so good and moist, but the champagne cake was not edible it was super dense, no taste, parts tasted like it wasn't cooked and it was awful. Corina Bakery is a delight. The daily assortment of cakes and baked goods is exceptional, and I like the surprise of not knowing what will be on offer each day. Excellent gluten free berry cheese cake and vegan orange cake! Decorated beautifully. They both got rave reviews from my family at our graduation party for our two granddaughters. I would have given 5 stars if the take-out boxes had been designed so that the cakes wouldn’t slide around inside the boxes and ruin the frosting by bumping into the sides. These lovely cakes deserve to get to their location in pristine condition. For the price of these lovelies, they should be in better designed boxes! Corina is the perfect place for a sunny morning. (But also all other weather and times too)

Enjoyed sitting on a quiet morning on the patio. It was very busy. The baristas are impressive! They are non-stop and constantly cranking out beautiful cups of coffee.

I had espresso and a basil-herb cream cheese baked good. The espresso was tasty and served with some club soda which is always a nice touch. The baked good (can’t remember the name) was pretty delicious.

Also had a cappuccino with hemp milk. They have really good alternative milk options.

Our local bakery! They have a wonder sit-down area to relax and have intimate conversations but we're there for the food, right? They have everything from breakfast to lunch to cakes to pastries and bread so they cover a wide range of food items.

As a life-long Tacoma resident, I don't know how I managed going to Corina for the first time until just the other day.

It's a quaint location, with a lot of activity and a warm buzz. It was busy during my visit, but they still took and filled my order quickly.

They had a good mix of pastries, breakfast selections, and baked goods. I ordered a quiche (still not sure why, I don't much care for quiche). The quiche I had was pretty good though. My friend ordered two pastries (she was hungry) and was very happy with her food.

I would recommend Corina to any friends who want a decent cup of coffee and some good light fare to eat. More...

Best bakery in Tacoma by far. I have even used Corina to bake a cake for my daughter's birthday and it was delicious. They don't just bake cakes though. They have two glass cases of baked goods ranging from breakfast sandwiches and pastries to cupcakes and cookies. You can even find home made pudding and yougurt with fruit. Can't say enough good things about the people at Corina Bakery, but what really speaks for this little shop is the PRODUCT. Purchased a custom Unicorn cake that they made completely from a previous design. WOW. Not only was it beautiful, but it was delicious! Lemon cake with raspberry filling was a hit with everyone. Usually frosting is too sweet for me, but Corina's is perfect. The cake is melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Additionally, we ordered Gluten Free and Vegan cupcakes for kids that have some allergies and they were equally delicious. We received SO many compliments from party-goers, I'm sure they've made some new customers. Even though I added to my order twice, Venessa was incredibly friendly and easy to work with.
