Lots of small restaurants and vendors with plenty of food variety to choose from, everything from smoothies to chocolates to hot and cold sandwiches. Plenty of wine to select from and chocolates galore! Highly recommend! More...

Love the public market. It feels like a tiny piece of Seattle's market fell in Milwaukee. There are so many food options - I enjoy eating at every single place! Everywhere has vegetarian options as well! There are also a lot of retail options for food, and gifts. Make sure you stop by! More...

I really like this place, great for bringing a big group as everyone can choose something different to eat! I have eaten at nearly all the different stands and none of them have been bad. I especially like sitting outside when possible to be in the middle of the third ward action. They also have small stands with locally made MKE products, great for gifts or to bring out of towners to browse. My one complaint it is it very hard to get around the market during peak hours as it is PACKED. I would suggest going on a weekday in the afternoon as in my experience this is the quietest time. I love this place! Great for a date or if you’re from out of town and want to try some WI staples. I recommend the bloody from the seafood place, they put salmon jerky in it! I always get a Milwaukee tee shirt too. More...

This was our first time in Milwaukee and everyone had encouraged us to go to the Public Market. It was just a quick walk from the hotel. It was a fun experience. We have never been anywhere quite like it. It's has a bunch of different shops with in one open market that have really unique things. We took our kids and let them pick out some specialty treats. Super fun! More...

Zipped in and out, but I love this place. I went to Oro di Oliva for a bottle of Sicilian Lemon Balsamic, my secret ingredient in cole slaw, broccoli salad, and other salads but don't tell anyone. Ha! I was tempted by new balsamics like coconut, bourbon maple, chocolate, and others. And there is the Cheese and Sausage shop (look for the small cuts called cheese orphans), the Spice Shop, St. Paul's Fish Market (can you say lobster?), wine, etc., etc. With a purchase the parking lot is free. Fun to visit. More...

It's a tradition at this point to go here with my grandmother. It's better to get there early since it's not as crowded. Lot's of great businesses and places to eat. Only problem is that there's a dining area on the second floor and it's hard to get there with food. More...
