What kind of accounting services do you provide?
I provide bookkeeping (write-up) of my clients' financial activities. This is done with either QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop.
At the minimum, my clients receive a monthly Profit / Loss Report, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash flows. I can also provide other metrics such as comparing industry averages so that my clients can see how their business is performing compared to their counterparts.
Some of my clients would like a weekly or sometime daily cash v.s liabilities position report.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
"You can't monitor what you don't measure"..... A business owner has a tremendous amount of pressure and responsibilities and often time "the books" fall by the wayside. If they have a systematic, repeatable accounting / bookkeeping / reporting system in place, they are at a tremendous advantage for decision-making and planning. Having a system in place is proactive rather than reactive....
What do you love most about your job?
Working and collaborating closely with clients who believe in the value of having excellent accounting / bookkeeping records. This provides them with peace of mind as they are able to better understand how their business is performing.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have an entrepreneurial spirit and wanted to challenge myself to leave the 9-5 system. I now have more freedom to work with great people and am regarded as a knowledgeable professional, not just an employee.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have BBA in Finance Florida Atlantic University (2002), I am a Certified Bookkeeper (AIPB), and Certified QuickBooks Online Proadvisor.
I believe in using technology, but monitor and manage the process in great detail as technology is only a tool, not the entire answer.
