I am a solution-driven, goal-oriented life coach. People generally seek out coaching with an immediate need to alleviate some current, ongoing stressor. I will help my clients review their values and goals, and develop an action plan for achieving those goals. I utilize motivational interviewing techniques, which are designed to identify an individual's resources and motivation for change. This style inspires inward motivation for change and attempts to free clients from ambivalence cycles and recognize gaps between their present behaviors and future goals, values, or principles.

I believe that each individual is unique, and there is no "one size fits all" policy when it comes to people. My coaching goals will be to objectively review each case and apply the techniques and strategies that best fit the client's situation while approaching the client with grace and empathy. Brene Brown reminds us that "empathy has no script. There is no right way or wrong way to do it. It's simply listening, holding space, withholding judgment, emotionally connecting, and communicating that incredibly healing message of 'You're not alone".
