This was my second time staying at this facility and I'm excited about the room upgrades made and even more floored by the customer service. I was able to check in at 7a (no additional charge) and they were able to accommodate my dog who originally wasn't going to be part of my trip. The pet fee was an additional $20 which wasn't bad at all. This hotel serves breakfast daily from 6:30-9:30- which includes an assortment of cereals, juices, you can prepare your own waffles in a cast iron waffle maker. There were also other breakfast items such as eggs, sausages and potatoes as well as bagels and muffins. The dining area is large but I opted to take my breakfast into the comfort of my room. I had a room with a large king bed, two seating areas (which I believe is standard) and what looked to be a newly renovated bathroom with sliding shower door. When I stayed last year I don't recall the shower having a sliding partition. Upon checkout my car wouldn't start. Would you believe the receptionist (same young lady that checked me in the morning prior) offered to run home or to her relatives place to grab jumper cables for me?! Thankfully I found another man to assist but the fact that she would've gone out of her way was pretty epic since I was in a pretty bad situation. I'm excited to return to Kanab and I'll continue to stay at this hotel. Even more so knowing my dog is welcome! More...

Clean and comfortable room with separate sitting area.  Nice bathroom with shower stall, but no tub.  Included shampoo, conditioner and soap, as well as in-room coffee, closet with iron and ironing board. Breakfast was all carbs all the time - waffles, toast, pastries, potatoes, biscuits.  But also eggs, sausage, fruit, yogurt, coffee, hot chocolate, juice, etc.The biggest problem was that the breakfast area was too small, and guests were tripping over each other, and staff struggling to keep items stocked.Overall, a very decent place to stay.  Would stay there again. Well, Damn, who would have known I would have been living fancy in the Comfort Suites? I sure didn't! During my recent hiking trip around Utah and Arizona, I decided to book the Comfort Suites as it was super close to Zion National Park and Horseshoe Bend. Comfort Suites has been opened since 2015 and still screams NEW! I am happy to report that during my first visit to Comfort Suites, I TRULY enjoyed my stay here! My homegirl and I got checked in by the lovely Noah and Chelsea and they were absolutely fabulous! They got us checked in quickly and informed us of all the good eateries around the area. They even gave us a number to call the owner from a lovely bar down the street called, "Juniper Ridge Restaurant and Saloon". Listen up, whatever you do, make sure you check out that bar! OMG. Moving forward, shall we?The rooms here are fantastic and spacious! We were in a King suite with a huge living room. The room was just my cup of tea; clean, spacious, huge and comfy bed, good TV, gorgeous bathroom with a sexy shower and stacks of towels just ready for me to us! What more could I have asked for? We could have easily had 4-5 more people in there and been comfortable. Breakfast was another bonus! They have a wonderful and tasty continental breakfast and a clean business center. I can't stop boasting about how clean this hotel is! I was only here for one night but I would have easily stayed longer. The grounds are extremely clean and well-kept, the customer service was FAB! I love how welcoming the staff are here.I would definitely book another stay at this hotel. My only regret is that I didn't stay here longer! It's a MUST! More...

My family and I stayed here at this hotel to attend a weekend conference. Coming all the way from Miami on a 12 hour bus ride, we were looking to check in and get some rest before our conference started. We arrived at 11:30am or so but not all of the bus riders were able to check in right away, due to their availability. Out of curtesy, they did manage to check in as many as they could, even though the official check in time was 3:00pm. Kudos to you guys!We didn't get our room till about 2:00pm, but no loss to them, we usually check out at 7am to 8am on Sunday. The room was comfortable (1 King & 1 pull out Sofa). Ironing board, safe, microwave, and most important...Hot Water in the shower! The remote for the DirecTV enable 46" LCD , was not in the room. We had to call to the front desk to get one sent up. Funny thing is the delivery person stayed in the doorway and extra 5-10 seconds. I think he was waiting for a tip for something that should have already been in the room.Free breakfast, your typical fake Omelette with cheese, sausage, make-your-own-waffle station, hot and cold cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea etc...even mini waffles. For the area, it works!I booked a last minute reservation for the week while traveling to visit family. I typically book with Choice Hotels, since it's the more economical option without lowering standards to scary Motel 6 quality. Honestly, it all depends on who manages the hotel chain. When I arrived at Comfort Suites, we had a very late check in around 11pm due to being on the road for 17hrs. The lady at the front desk was incredibly nice and got us setup quickly, so we could go get some much needed rest. There's some Pros & cons to this hotel. Pros:Clean RoomHousekeeping changed our sheets dailySpacious RoomsWorking amenities Warm showerHot BreakfastIndoor Pool and 'Hot tub'Cool 1920's cars in the frontLarge clean lobbyClose to 40 & a lot of restaurantsThe staff always greeted us when entering or exitingCons:Parking was always an issue after 6pm. A lot of contractors stay here, and they park like ginormous assholes and take up multiple spaces with their trailers. Keycards to our room had to be reset daily, which in one case was a major issue when I was feeling sick and needed to get to the room quickly, but I couldn't get in. While they have a pool, it's creepy. Red lights, mysterious steam from the sauna and shark/dolphin-esque looking mosaics are at the bottom of the pool. Ok, so that's not a con really, but it's hilarious. You should check it out.Breakfast can be questionable.... A couple mornings it was great! One morning, it was a giant pan of raw bacon. The stay was ok, peeps. If you're looking for limited frills, or are passing through, this will hit the spot, but if you're looking to dish out some bucks for ambiance.... there's some more expensive options available for you in the area. Even the woman working the breakfast buffet was helpful, making sure the area was always clean, well stocked and helped the waffle maker virgins without laughing!! The only complaint I had, which had nothing to do with the hotel, but crappy parenting, is the kids running around the breakfast buffet like feral cats...even putting their little paws straight into the sausage pan.  Otherwise, we had an extremely pleasant and satisfied stay...which was far above what we were expecting for the price. Stayed here for the night and my first impression was, "secluded" not on any busy roads or in a claustrophobic area. It was nice. I did arrive during the night and took the back road in. Orange drive. But it was a nice little drive to it. Upon arrival, I noticed it was just 3 floors high. PERFECT!! Well, for me that is. Parking is free. The price for the room was expected. It was a good deal. Not a place to host huge parties. A nice quiet place. The lobby was clean and a little outdated, but it was nice and quiet. The room. Our room was on the 3rd floor. We had a view and was able to crack the window slightly open when we wanted fresh air. But the AC was on auto run at the right temperature. The room size was perfect. King suite. Had a pull out sofa. The bathroom was a nice size. Good size shower and sink area. The trash can had a bag in it!!! No way?! Lol. (If you've read my other review, you'd get the joke). I didn't feel so stuffed, trapped or claustrophobic here. They had MANY exits. Almost every corner had an exit AND separate entry way. This will be the place to stay when we come back to the area. I typically spend about 20 nights per year in Comfort Inns and other Choice Hotel properties throughout the United States. This is - by far - the nicest of the properties. It's a newer hotel so the rooms feel clean, spacious, and well designed. Other of the newer Comfort Inns have a similar design. What sets this hotel apart is that the walls have insulation. I never heard voices, television, or sounds through the walls. The door is solid - no noise from the halls. Only slight footfall sounds from the room above. The furniture and bed are standard Comfort Inn models. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. The breakfast is standard Comfort Inn. Not so standard are the extremely nice swimming pool and hot tub. Even better, since I was traveling with my pup, is the large, enclosed dog run. There's a bench where you can sit while your dog sniffs around. Poop bags are provided. And, of course, Kanab is located in the middle of the most spectacular scenery in the country. Be aware that you'll pay as much as $100 per night more than you would at Comfort Inns along the interstates. More...

Lol Sooooo to start with this is one of our best overall experiences at a Hotel... The bad first the working the lobby was solo which I will explain in a second why that was bad followed with a picThe room itself was good, spacious air conditioning was awesome and cool! The bad there was no coffee maker in the room, no wash clothes and only two large towels and a lamp did not work which no biggie. The funny part and is someone from the hotel reads this please be advised that the washer next to room 216 is connected to the toilet and causes the soap bubbles to come out of the toilet on the bathroom floor.I went into the room to shower and to my surprise white soap was flowing from the toilet onto the floor, which is the hard part of one girl working alone, we couldn't call her the phone was busy so I went downstairs she apologized and I got several medium towels from her to clean up the soap myself. She did offer to move us to another room, but this was 10pm and we had to the up early so not a big deal.Round one was cleaned up and I left towels on the floor just incase. We went to bed around 11:10pm and heard someone start up the washer (which is not supposed to be used after 10pm) and all the sudden we heard the toilet water drain, and a soapy sound lol yep! Two more rounds of soap on their floor! Our trip to CA was full of mishaps and was stressful, so this we could do nothing more than laugh at...We hope to come and spend a couple three days as this seems like a good place to get some much needed quiet time. The room was clean, the sitting area a couch and a sofa style chair and coffee table was comfortable - it's always nice to have somewhere besides the bed to sit and relax. The breakfast bar was better than average, with pancakes, waffles, eggs, meat and hash browns, as well as cereal and the typical yogurts, Danishes and bagels. Sugar free hot chocolate was a unexpected AWESOME bonus. The room was 4/5 for ability to make it dark - lots of electronic lights inside the room, and a rather large gap around the door (note to self - travel with a roll of blue painters tape next time!) I'm definitely more sensitive to external light at night than most folks. The AC was only so-so - 3/5. The unit by the window blew out cool/cold air, but could not cool the room below 70. (Maybe the bed was just too close to the unit for it to really work?) Maintenance came up and looked at in Monday night, but wasn't able to really fix it.  The maintenance guy was very nice.  Tuesday I kept the blinds closed when I left, and that kept the room much cooler. The AC thing was kind of a bummer, but otherwise the stay was great.
