Called to see if we could get propane and was told they closed at 4:45, got there at 4:42 and the fellow was at the pump but said he closed at 4:30 and would not help us! Very bad customer service! I’d never recommend this park!! More...

I rate this place with no stars. This KOA location has housekeepers who are stealing TV's from the room and then the KOA office staff is charging the customer for the TV being missing as they did with me on my recent stay 1/24/22-1/26/22. They also charged me twice for the $25 deposit of which the staff admittedly said there system does sometimes. So how many times has there system charged the $25 deposit to other customers who didn't notice the extra charge. This must be an added bonus charge for the KOA's income. During my stay the remote for the TV didn't work I could not change the channel which was stuck on the GRIT channel which is old westerns not exactly my cup of tea, so I went down to the office twice asking for new remote they told me they would contact housekeeping yet never heard or received any response from them in regards to this. I am a victim of an abusive relationship of which I was trying to escape from by leaving my home to get away with the little bit of money I was able to save up and then this KOA stole $125 of it because of a faulty computer system and a thieving housekeeping department. I would never suggest anyone to stay at this KOA. More...

We enjoyed our visit to the Colorado Springs KOA and we do with all the KOAS we have visited throughout the United States. On our last trip to Sturgis we spent 2 nights at the Colorado Springs KOA and was happy with the location, cleanliness and staff. At the time they did require a two day reservation which was fine with us. When we return to Colorado in the future we will definitely return. More...

We stopped here on the way to Texas.  I echo what others said...it's loud.  They do a tractor ride with kids and they ride around and scream.  If I was a kid I am sure I would love this activity.  But my dogs hearing screaming several times were not fans.  The park is super busy and although it's just one night not sure I would stay again if I could find another option.  We just need to rest and it's hard with so much road noise and activities.  The bathrooms were clean.  Now it's 930 pm and kids are still running around yelling... we are lying in bed and can hear everything they say.....  Not a peacefull park. Helpful & friendly staff from check in to when we left. We were guided to our site & trash bag we left in front of our motor home was picked up the next morning. Several cabins that looked neat. Our deluxe site was clean, pretty level and well maintained. Not much grass this time of year at the sites for the dogs and pet area was a bit far away. I would stay there again! More...

We had an amazing stay and will be back for sure! So many fun things for kids and adults to do. The pool, water slides, big jumping area and activities kept my kids busy and happy. We stayed in a cabin and we’re very grateful for the outlets and refrigerator. The cafe is a great way to pack less and cute store had essentials we forgot. The internet wasn’t working but we were able to hook up to a hotspot for the kids. Hot tub was out of order as well but still plenty to do. More...

Just stayed at this local KOA for the weekend and it was a great experience. We booked the deluxe RV campsite which came with a gas grill, patio table and chairs/area, and fire pit with plenty of shade. They also have "pup sites" where they have little fenced off areas you can put your dog at your camp site, which was nice. We had tons of fun, especially our toddler and dog! They had different fun activities for the kids each hour and throughout the day had the air-conditioned rec room open with activities for them to do and a huge bounce pad. The water play area and pool were lots of fun for everyone and wasn't crowded which was nice. They also had a dog park for the dogs to play in which was nice. They had a local on site store and Cafe which was convenient for items you may need or if you didn't feel like cooking. They also had clean bathrooms, showers and laundry rooms for people that needed to use them. They also offered cabins and covered tent sites for people who don't have an RV or trailer which was cool. The camp ground was clean and all the staff were really on top of making sure everyone's having a good time, They were friendly and especially good with the kids. My only issue was our camp site "149" had quite a few wasps or yellow jackets during the day which we didn't like but luckily no one got stung or anything. Not sure if that's something out of their control but other than that everything else was amazing and I would definitely recommend staying there especially if you have kids there's so much to do, you won't be disappointed. Great place to camp with kids, restrooms were super clean, the people at this KOA are attentive to the needs of the campers. Beware of the Cafe though ordered a breakfast burrito and asked if the could put some green chile on it, instead the cook put spinach on a breakfast burrito??? I think this ends the debate between New Mexico green chile and Colorado green chile. 🤔 More...

This place was pretty underwhelming.. stayed in a 30 amp camper hook up for 3 nights. EVERYTHING is about 20 years outdated. The bathrooms are so so the laundry washers and dryers are coin operated and terrible. The rental bikes are old and barely rolling. The kids splash pool was pretty good though which seems like the only positive for this place.. way over priced for a really outdated place. More...

The staff is friendly, lot's of fun entertainment for kids. However, the bathrooms were filthy, most washer machines were out of order, the women's bathroom door in the back side of the campground was broken, my cabin floor was filthy, the bedspread had white stains on it, there was dead flies on the bed bed boxer. I was looking for bed bugs, luckily didn't find any. The bed feels worn out and makes so much noise when you move around at night. The room smelled like musty mold. Then I realized the small Ac unit had a small towel between the Ac and the cabin wall to prevent back draft from outside. And the towel looked yellow but originally you can tell it was white before. Who knows how long it had been there. This is cabin K1. I didn't have a good experience here. Will not return to this KOA. More...

My 5 year-old son, husband, and I stayed 2 nights in a one-room cabin.Pros: Cabin,  linens, and fridge were clean.  We appreciated having linens provided.  There were lots of activities--pool, water slides, jumping pillow, (small) playground, and scheduled activities in the activity center.  Staff were friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean. Check in was easy.Just so you know (did not effect rating): Large, busy campground off of major interstate.  Children/teens tend to roam sans parental supervision.  There appear to be quite a few long-term (perhaps permanent) residents of the campground.Cons: Activity schedule can change with little notice.  Don't tell your littles about a "scheduled" activity until right before it happens, and make sure to check the sign outside the activity center frequently.  In the mornings, a staff member drives around the campground with a karaoke speaker and mic announcing the "hey" ride over and over....then the "hey ride" drives around the campground (which wasn't bad until the loud music started) saying good morning to everyone.  Sinks at the kamp kitchen were gross.  All of the strainers in the drains were full of food, and the actual sinks were dirty.  I chose the least of the evils (pretty sure there were raw meat scraps in it), dumped the strainer, and washed my dishes without letting them touch the inside of the sink.   There are two sets of bathrooms/showers on the grounds.  While clean, the women's room had two toilet stalls, two shower stalls, and one ADA toilet/shower combo stall.  This was a problem for such a large campground.  Pool water was very cloudy--perhaps more frequent cleaning is needed for a tiny pool with LOTS of bodies.  Zero crowd control for the pool as well. My family and I chose Colorado Springs KOA to stay for 2 weeks because of the splash pad and activities for our grand children.  The day that we arrived, the splash pad closed because of technical problems.  I'm not surprised because everything in the whole park is in disrepair.  The splash pad never reopened while we were there.  The staff did not seem to grasp the urgency of getting it fixed quickly.  The pool was open but it is small for the size of the park and it was overrun with kids and adults and the water looked green.  The spa was available, but the jets did not work and it looked old, dirty and cracked. There were many other places throughout the park that needed repair or updating.  There were several places in the roads and sidewalks where water was standing 24/7.  The mosquitos were quite bad (we got very bit up) and all of the standing water I'm sure did not help.  The bathrooms were run down and not very clean.  One of the toilets kept running and the staff didn't seem to care enough to fix it.  Seems like a waste of water. The traffic noise from nearby highway 25 is truly unbelievable.  It was hard to even carry on a conversation outdoors.  If you like sleeping with your windows open, the traffic noise gets to a fever pitch at about 6:30 am.I will say that because of my complaining about the water park, the manager gave us a 20% discount for our stay.  I appreciate that, but what we REALLY wanted was a nice place to stay while our grand kids could enjoy the splash pad.  It was over 90 degrees most of the time we were there. One more thing; as in almost all RV parks, the wifi works but is extremely slow and not really able to stream videos online. More...

I was surprised that this park only has a 3 star rating.  It is a very clean park, lots of spacing between the RVs... great place for families. We have enjoyed watching all the kiddos play outside riding their bikes. There are fire pits at each site. The only issue I found with the park was the laundry rooms. Very small and limited number of machines for the size of the park. I actually took my laundry to a laundromat about 3 miles from the park. I liked the fact that you could purchase breakfast or dinner at the cafe it a reasonable price. We would definitely stay at this KOA park again when traveling through Colorado Springs. More...
