That shop is a very interesting place to go! He has equipment from years and years ago to use to make candy. and he has three varieties or four of peanut brittle called pecan brittle and coconut pecan brittle and good stuff like that. Very home family type of store.

I just stopped in to purchase some holiday candy for my family gathering, and what a wonderful experience. When I walked in, I was helped by a charming candy maker named Brian. With skin like vanilla pudding, Brian took the time to tell me the difference between all the yummy brittles they make and even gave me a sample! The thin ribbon candy is made right in front of your eyes. The ribbon candy is SO BEAUTIFUL and delicate, but that's probably because it's made by the soft and supple hands of Brian. I heard about the Colorado Candy Company at Loveland's Winter Wonderlights where they made cotton candy. I thought the watermelon cotton candy was delicious and it was as soft as I imagine Brian's ponytail would be. I would highly recommend any product made by the Colorado Candy Company, and it makes for the perfect gift! More...
