Gerry, the bartender, is AMAZING. I've been coming here for about three years because I enjoy the margarita Monday deals and reasonably priced authentic Mexican food. Gerry always greets me, brings me my order in a timely manner and makes me feel like family. He goes above the traditional service process and makes my dining experience something I look forward to every time I walk in. I've had multiple servers here and he is the only one who pays close attention to detail and goes above and beyond. He has turned me from a first time customer to a regular. Visited EPG yesterday!! We ordered the mulitias, which comes with 2, and they are big and filling! Cheese, your choice of meat, cilantro, onions all between 2 corn tortillas! You can actually separate them and make them into tacos, they are that  and full of meat! We shared one chicken & one carne, rice & beans and i had 1 free drink avail to me through their rewards. Food was delicious, price was under $20 and we were both full! I don't know why they put in their rice & beans, but i could eat them all day!! Great chicken, it really does challenge the likes of El Pollo Loco. Â Their chickens are larger and has more meat and the flavor is that of the pollo asada from Baja Mexico. My Mom and I went there yesterday for the first time to support a fundraiser for someone at her church. Â I've driven by the place over the years and was always curious. Â There was a line out the door and everyone's plate looked delicious! Â We ordered a chicken bowl that had lettuce, rice, beans, sour cream, cheese and plenty of delicious guacamole!!! Loved it! We stopped for Sunday brunch hoping for an authentic Mexican breakfast and it did not disappoint. Food: great variety of my favorites, including flavorful green chili chilaquiles, menudo and jeuvos rancheros. El Pollo Grill is my family favorite. We are Taco Tuesday regulars with their amazing deals. If we dine in we typically order the two tacos and beer for $6 and some change. If I order to go I order the 10 tacos for under $20! You CAN'T beat it. The staff is friendly and the tacos are so flavorful. The salsa selection also have a nice kick. 4 * the food was great, and the flan was perfect, we all love it, but the mimosas were not, a mimosa is a breakfast/lunch drink in a champagne flute not in a wine glass, but we still enjoyed it, we had only one glass each instead of two or three, it was my son's birthday, and he likes Cocina del Charro.

Similar to the San Marcos location, Cocina del Charro is a great happy hour spot. Â I've been to the San Marcos location many times but one a random Monday, my partner in crime and I decided to try this location. Â I have to admit....I like this location better. Â The quality of the food is the same so you can't go wrong with either location but the parking is a million times easier and the place is just quieter. This is a place I could eat at every day but then my wife would think I was seeing someone else if I never came home and ate her cooking the way I enjoy EPG!And let's taco-about...well their TACOS!!! And if you're any taco loving human being like most people are well than this is definitely a place for you. They have an all you can eat option, that's right all you can eat for such a great price. And don't be fooled by some other poor review cause there's a few all you can eat rules, amateurs. I mean you ever seen someone go to a buffet and walk out with a doggie bag, etc. But back to these mouth watering tacos that encompasses what every tastebud desires. Flavor upon flavor upon flavor!!! Seriously these tacos are scrumptious. And did I mention its all "you" can eat? Haha of course I did but saying it again just makes me want more tacos!And now let's move onto the "elephant" in the room aka on the menu. The Cali Quake  burrito. Wait, did you just feel that? What? You might be asking. That's the ground shaking from this 6.19lb burrito. Literally the size of a small bus or plane, lol. All jokes aside this burrito could feed a small family or 2 really hungry stoners. But if you eat massive this burrito and side of fires within 30 mins you get it free, a free shirt, a giftcard and they donate to charity. Sounds like a win win with some yummy salsa on the side to me.But honestly what makes EPG a place that have you constantly coming back for is the owner and his relationship with his loyal customers. Victor is a very real, honest, kind and caring person. He interacts with all his customers and his community whether it be in person or social media. That alone gives you something that separates EPG from a lot of other places out there.So next time you're thinking about eating out and want some Mexican food to satisfy your appetite and soul.
