Overall top notch service and much more than just a catering company. Michael was great about helping with planning details of the day, mapping out our entire reception at Harkness Eoila Mansion, they even helped my mother get all the gifts and other items we brought loaded in her car at the end of the reception. She didn't have to lift a finger! Great food, great service, great staff. We sat with 3 catering comapanies and are glad we choose Coastal. Stop thinking about your options and use Coastal Gourmet. Loved it! Had the lobster roll (hot). Also, the halibut on a bed of risotto was fantastic! Our waiter was great and gracious as I forgot his name (Chris? Steve?).

My son's wedding was there last weekend and it was amazing. The staff, the food and the venue exceeded my expectations! If you are looking for a place to have your reception with delicious food and beautiful atmosphere this is the place!

We went here for our 15th anniversary and had made reservations beforehand. When we got there, the wait staff knew who we were, congratulated us, and communicated with each other about every need we had.
Tremendous amount of teamwork here.
The food is amazing as well. Portion sizes are perfect, and very filling. Food has a unique taste that somehow makes every bite taste better than the last. We had the Mediterranean pasta and the garlic shrimp pasta.
If you have ever wanted to taste some food that is typical of Sicilian cuisine, the Mediterranean pasta is perfect for this experience.
The garlic shrimp pasta doesn't compare to anything Olive Garden can prepare at all. The noodles are cooked perfectly, and the shrimp are giant, and the Alfredo sauce is creamy and delicious.
Oh, and for dessert, the salted peanut butter pie is amazingly delicious. It is a good sized portion for two people to share, had just the right amount of sweet that you can satisfy a sweet tooth, but at the same time not be overpowered.
Over all I feel this restaurant is top notch and worth it for a terrific meal. I'm going to be recommending this place to my friends for sure.

Coastal Gourmet catered my wedding. I don't know what we would have done with Michael organizing everything. The best part was having a staff member assigned to us the whole day who did a great job making us feel relaxed and comfortable. In the weeks leading up to the event they were very communicative.
