My husband and I are very thankful to Carlos for the counseling that we received from him. When we started our sessions we had been married for 25 years and had spent many years having trouble with our communication. We would fight about small things that didn’t mean anything and when we tried to talk about the big things we were still frustrated about the small that we had fought about and couldn’t find a way to navigate through it. We were on a never ending circuit. However, we soon began learning after sessions with Carlos what, how and why we were basically saying the same things just not hearing each other and how we needed to get and use consistently the right tools to stay on the same path so we could communicate. The reason I am giving 4 stars and not 5 is because as a woman I did feel there were a few times that I communicated some things that were just shrugged off and said were not important, I believe this to be because Carlos sees things differently as a man. I understand that and I think that is ok, he did several times on other issues hear what I was saying and pull my husbands attention to those things. I believe that we will never agree with everyone and if we are truly honest, that includes ourselves and God. So, I believe that Carlos did a great job and my husband and I have been given a bag of tools that we have made a habit of using which has provided us with a better marriage, relationship and communication!
