What makes a great website?
A great website is one which is easy to navigate, viewable on all devices, is engaging, and interesting for visitors, promotes your services with video, text overlays, and calls to action. High-quality photographs are also a must.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is your design style? What is your budget? What are you hoping to gain from building a new website? Who are your customers?
Describe your creative process.
First meeting, we discuss the overall objectives of the website and begin to put together a sitemap. Next, we research similar sites and ask the client to provide some examples of sites they like from a design perspective. Once we have a pretty good idea of the style the client is looking for, we build a mockup of their new home page and present for feedback. Once the homepage is approved, we build a few mockups of the interior pages. Once all the mockups are approved by the client, we will start developing the site.

Hosting information, who are their competitors, several sites they like from a design perspective,
What do you love most about your job?
The creative process, attention to detail, and working with some really great clients as well as my staff.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always had a bit on entrepreneurial spirit in me, and when the company I was working as the CTO for decided to shut down, it created the perfect opportunity for me to do what I had always been doing, except run my own show. It has been a great decision. I love my job even more now!
