Try the famous orange roll if you get there early enough to score one. They had three when I was there around ten AM. Other standouts were a meaty and cheesey ham and cheese croissant and a blueberry cream cheese danish, but pretty much anything will be good. These folks definitely know their stuff. I found the French Macarons either too chewy and way too sweet for the tongue. You should be able to taste each flavor like it's an experience. I bought 8 and they all tasted the same but the lemon. My daughter and I went there for breakfast and as part of her touring top rated coffee establishments in and around KC. I had a chocolate croissant and she had a beef pie. Both were fantastic. I think I really need to rely on others for the review here. Â I don't believe I have ever gotten food form this location but let me tell you about what I have gotten! Delicious dark and wondrous coffee!!! yes! that great roasted bean brewed beverage that gives energy and life! Â The brew that I received was referred to as their medium. Â All I know is without anything added this had the nice full flavor of a nice breakfast blend. Â Not too acidic and not by any stretch of the imagination bitter or weak. Â Just the right amount across the board. Â I have also had their teas. Really good bakery with good coffee, great pastries and a great view of the older part of town. Great place to grab a coffee and a cinnamon roll before heading out to whatever you're doing, whether it be the farmer's market or some other day activity. I love their French Macrons, my favorite flavor is goat cheese and fig! I find the Clock Tower Bakery to be a nice little cafe in downtown Overland Park nestled not far from the Farmer's Market. I highly recommend this lovely cafe and as far as food goes, everything looks good but the pastys and bakes are very delicious especially with a nice cup of tea (I prefer a nice Earl Grey, English Breakfast and Darjeeling) and remember when you drink your tea, keep your pinky up!
