Clive Daniel has beautiful (yes,expensive) furniture and we found the customer service to be top notch. I'm sort of confused by the negative reviews. Our designer, Gina, helped us pick out a home full of furniture and fabrics that look stunning in our apartment. She is enthusiastic, responsive and listened to our needs and our preferences and worked within our guidelines to furnish our home.We called her many times asking 'when will our furniture arrive?' and she always looked into it and called us back with an answer. On installation day, she was with us as well as another designer, Reanna and a repairman to make sure the quality was right. The delivery guy/master installer, Toro does amazing work and was considerate of our apartment.They even sent a piece back that was damaged, if they hadnt told us, we never would have noticed it.Next time you need furniture, go to Clive Daniel and ask for Gina. We were on our way home in a major Florida downpour as we passed Clive Daniel. It was late, but we had a half hour free. We had been wanting to stop in, as we still, after 3 years in Florida, need to furnish our living room. The store has been open since January 2016. We didn't know if the store was open to the public or only to designers. We decided to stop in to find out. What a find!! Not only do they have an enormous selection of beautiful furniture on 2 floors, they also have very knowledgeable designers (not just sales staff) to help you every step of the way! They will even come to your home to help with a design (for a fee of course). The furniture is not inexpensive, but it is beautiful! (This is not Rooms to Go or City Furniture). Come here for the special designer finds!We had photos of our living room, along with a floor plan & measurements of our room with us. Fran walked us around the store pointing out furniture that she felt would look good in our space. She got a good idea of our taste in furniture. She was very helpful, guiding us toward things that would truly work beautifully in our space! She took us into the enormous design room, showing us a large selection of books of furnishings and fabrics also available for purchase. She was wonderful! We've set up an appointment with her, when we all have more time. I'm confident we'll find something lovely & special for our room, thanks to her help & the wonderful selection at Clive Daniel. Great selection of furniture. From mid-price to high price. My salesperson, Ann, was very helpful. Not pushy, didn't stalk me as I wandered through the store. When I was done wandering, she was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. She understood that I had a budget and helped me stick to it. When I needed another bedroom set, I returned and she was very helpful again. As a real estate broker, I know the power of big N neutral when it comes to home furnishings appealing to many people. Clive Daniel is the phoenix child of the principals of Robb & Stucky It returned after the recession with a beautiful showroom and an inventory of conservative, contemporary furniture. There's not a glimpse of jarring color here. Neutrals and pale pastels dominate the largely expensive collections. Well manicured designers are available to help customers assemble interiors, too.By invitation, the Naples Opera provided a one-night teaser for the upcoming season. The event was hosted at Clive Daniel. They opened space in their center atrium so a string quartet could perform two selections, followed by the performance of a coloratura soprano. The well-heeled crowd stood or perched on Clive Daniel's couches and chairs while the music flowed.Light, very light hors d'oevres were provided on two tables, and wine was poured sparingly at a third, My guess from the soggy, chilled canollis that the food was gathered at Costco, or provided by a low budget caterer. o dear. But we were there not for the food, but for the opportunity to preview classical talent in a pretty setting. Staff from the Opera were armed with program brochures and were available to sell season tickets.It was apparent that a handful of Clive Daniel sales people were conscripted to stay for the evening event. They huddled out of sight of the performers, but their chatter carried to the ears of several disapproving opera patrons in front of us. Luckily, the Neopolitans present avoided confrontation, and were content to be distracted from the music by throwing evil glances at the oblivious Clive Daniel reps.A good time was had by not all.
